Great video also I wanted to ask something about totk mods. i was going to ask if i put a totk mod on my switch will i get banned from eshop and online and whatever risks there are, i wanted to ask from a modder like you to assure that my account wont suffer risk and that i wont be afraid of losing something. the mod i was going to install was the shrek/hinox mod, the minecraft golem construct mod, and a reskin for one of links costumes known as the zonai mod, (note that the first two were reskins for the bosses). Nothing more.

@@bradywhitlock5942 im pretty sure your account wont be banned or anything. And you also will not be banned from Nintendo Servers if you have your modding on an emunand instead of sysnand. And you can connect to the Nintendo servers in any way while being CFW or while having modded stuff on sysnand. Look up some tutorials I suggest the "Better Gaming" ones

Technically Rauru was the hero at the end of it all sealing away Ganondrod. So why didn’t it make us look more like him?

In TOTK they're basically just Sheikah 2.0

@@Swordy25 The Shekiah came after the Zonai. Even though they are descended from the heavens, we do not know much of their purpose other than they purified the and infested with demon with Shrines of Light. Then they disappeared. The only known Zonai members are King Rauru and his older sister Mineru. I wish Nintendo would of add more elements to that mysterious race while connecting to the BOTW continuity.

My only nitpcik is that they took away zonai link's red mane and gave him horns. The red mane was literally in the tapestry, also not all zonai males have horns (the generic zonai statues show that) Tho him having mineru's face was a great idea because his spirit is literally possessing the armor edit: I forgot to say how much I liked the added champion's sash to the zonaite armor, so it looks more unique. The proportions are better too

From the mods description it seems that the armor is meant to be Link transformed into a Zonai. Not their take on what the ancient hero looked like. In the comments of the mod page however the author does mention that you can make his hair red by deleting files.

For the record the Tapestry also depicts the heros skin color as the same color as his hair, so the armor is inaccurate even in the base game.

The Zonai Link Mod looks way better than the Ancient Hero’s Aspect, when I first got it, I was really excited, but then I got confused, as to how the Ancient Hero could’ve been around after all of the Zonai have been extinct for centuries after the Imprisoning War. ❤🤔

Maybe they were in a Zonai version of a "Shrine of Resurrection" like Link in BOTW. I find it somewhat strange that we never hear of Rauru and Sonia child/children since Zelda is related to both. But I doubt Nintendo will ever give us answers sadly.

@@Swordy25 yeah, I was really disappointed that we didn’t get to see Rauru and Sonia’s children since she does mention it. The fact with Nintendo won’t shed some light on the Zonai and makes them feel like they’re half baked into the overall story is sad. But seriously though, that Zonai mod looks beautiful, I’ve got to figure out how to mod this on my Switch one day. 😂

The Ancient Hero's Aspect mod is so good that it makes me incredibly upset that you get the Ancient Hero's Aspect so late in the game. Unless there's a mod out there to give you it early.

There's a super simple save editor online which allows you to add armors and other stuff to your save. Just search "TOTK save editor" and it should be the first result.

I wish I knew how to mod sometimes....I'd add my character since I do have the 3D version of him anyway and practically fully done besides a few texturing details to work out, and an eyelash to fix lol, but I'd mod my own character just so I'd have fun for once since the game after awhile isn' exactly fun. I'd have it to where you can find a special necklace as a key item, and have you summon him via that way, and be able to switch between the two. and you know how you can buy the same outfits? Make it so he'd be able to wear them and be like a twin-match. And canonically my character or at least this one in particular can climb like Link can (far before I even know of the mechanics of BOTW cause I started to play it in 2022 so I didn't even know link at that time could even climb and didn't have the money for it at that time either), doesn't mind gliding around, etc. even letting you swap out weapons with each other. and when sheild surfing (since my character isn't even human and is a rabbit/bunny character with big feet lol) He'd hop on Link's back and shoot at any possible enemies as you're going down. It would make the game such a better experience for me! Yes I was planning and still am in the planning phase of making a game out of them. but I had to put it on haitus for awhile. But it would be a great way for me to see how it would work out in their own game via that way. Since I plan to make a small comedy survival. I'd hire someone but I feel like that would cost a lot like hundreds of dollars with that I don't have, and I don't even know where to find modders or know any lol. Sadly I can make the character' can't combine the game x"DDD but these are neat for what they're worth. I just wish I had that kind of talent and time since something big is happening next year and I don't have to time sadly to do all that since i Have to push out projects not just on my channel to keep it alive, but also for....said....huge thing.....next year.....and no it's not just a big team project either...I'm sadly not allowed to say what it is.....

0:50 when modders make better shit than nintendo does. i swear when i got the ancient armor in the game i fucking laughed, dude looks like a clown , i was both hyped and disappointed that it fortunately wasn't just a shitty reskin of the tunic of the wild, but they clearly didn't put much effort in the outfit beside that (even the clothing was just the same...). this mod one has way more life putted into it, looks pretty and it actually blinks! I wish the mod was the vanilla one... instead of the clown we got D: Small note though, do be careful with linking to mods, that's how people got in trouble before D:

For major mod releases I'll ask the creators if they're ok with links or not. Nintendo is sporadic when it comes to going after things, but they seem to focus on larger projects or ones that are heavily monetized.

As far as I'm aware a hacked switch is required for using mods. I'd recommend finding a forum/discord for help.
