Thanks for featuring our home province' Atiatihan festival Kulas! Haven't attended this for more than 20 years since moving to the US and we enjoyed watching it , so nice and very nostalgic at the same time. Even my kids watched it and wants to experience this too one day. Viva kay Sr. Sto. Niño!

Spongecola is my gateway to rock. I was 12 when I saw them for the 1st time, my 1st band to see live, and now I'm 30. It's good to see that they're still playing, saw them again last week in Tarlac. They are an important part of rock band era in the Philippines, for me, that's the best era of music in our country.

The Barter of Panay - When the 10 Bornean Datus arrived in Malandog, Hamtic, Antique, they wanted the lowlands from the Ati King Marikudo. So Marikudo bartered the lowlands for a golden salakot and a gold necklace for his wife Ati Queen Maniwang-tiwan. Then the Atis moved to the uplands. So we know the Atis are from the mountains but were orignally from the lowlands... When you visit Antique next time, pass by Malandog. The stage in the plaza of Antique capital San Jose is in the shape of a golden salakot.
