Absolutely love Oshin but it's so insensitive of her to assume that people who are struggling due to childhood trauma can just snap out of it. No honey, your subconscious brain doesn't work that way, wish it did tho. The intensity of trauma makes a huge difference. Getting slapped for bad behavior differs from being abused day and night by drunk parents. Trauma affects people very differently on different levels. Kudos to people who make efforts to heal themselves. It's def not easy.

Sounds like Oshin has lots of knowledge around child welfare, rights and psychological aspect of childrens' development. In some extent she is true around child being used for social media content, which is wrong but at the same time she needs to think about parents challenge around stopping children and young people to use social media in this digital world. Its not easy as it sounds to stop kids being influence by the tiktoker, youtuber and rest as we are already in the digital world. Even though parent don't encorage children to get into the race of liking and subscription in the social media but due to how society is heading towards this digital arena, it is extremely difficult to make children understand they dont need to be in this race. In our time, there was a race to be doctors and engineers but now if you ask children what they want to be in the future? I bet almost 70% of children amd young people would say you tuber, online gamer, online chef etc.We have to accept that we live in digital era but have more awareness around how to make children and young people safe in these fields. Many people in Nepal might not even know that most of the social media has age bar limit to access it. Internet safety and awareness sessions are very vital to keep children safe and make aware to parents too. Addiction to social media is socially accepted addiction. People are not aware that it increases dopamine like when people uses drugs. Influencer like you guys need to raise awareness of internet safety for children and young people out there. 🙏🙏🙏

So less of authenticity from these ladies and the host.
