I want to find out more on the description for micro-economics.....Madam you said, "it studies the behavior of the smallest decision making unit in an economy", that is small decisions made by individuals, consumer, producer. Am based in Zambia, and the books for economics we read have also included "government" as part of the economic agents that are there to make such small decisions. Unlike consumers, suppliers and producers who're there to make such decisions based on self, via the explanation in our books, it shows "government" still makes decisions "based not on self" but to satisfy the needs and wants of its people. Kindly help clear my thoughts on this one.....Thank you!

Is the rate of economic growth a bit slow in a planned economy when you consider countries like China which is literally a superpower and world leader? I think it all boils down to the rules , regulations and policies put in place by the leadership or ruling elites.
