Every time I stay at a hotel I flip the mattress looking for any signs of bed bugs. Im terrified of those things.

When I stay at a hotel I were long johns, long sleeve shirt and socks. Mostly because I am allergic to the laundry detergents that many hotels use. Bed bug protection is another benefit of doing that.

If I ever sleep in a hotel im sleeping in a bee keeper suit...because a air tight astronaut suit is too expensive.

Anyone know of a good hotel with breakfast in the Pittsburgh area that has not been sited for bed bugs?

I have had good luck with Le Quinta too, but their beds are not very comfortable and they do not have humidity control so if you stay somewhere like Houston you have cold damp sheets etc. Places I have also had good luck is Days Inn, and Baymont. Best Western is a hit or miss. I also like to use websites that let you know if Bed Bugs have been found at the hotel I plan on staying at.

Just stayed in Cary NC for work and had bedbug bites for the first time. Now I'm headed to Richmond VA. How aggressive should I be about moving the headboard?

Im at the courtyard marriot in newport virginia steam cleaning carpets. I slept under the covers and i have three bed bug bites and saw one in another room that they were breaking down. My arm is on fire and is swollen as hell. I will never sleep under the covers in a hotel again .

Will staying at a newer hotel decrease the chances of encountering bed bugs?

Not necessarily I have seen Hampton Inns, and Holiday Inn Expresses with Bed Bug Reports. He is correct though the cheaper the hotel it is most likely they will seek the cheapest exterminator. You just have to check out your room no matter where you stay. You just do it:P

Signs that a hotel has once had bedbugs isn’t a bad thing though is it? Most hotels have probably had them at some point.

most motel 8 bed bugs never stay in this type michigan and pansylvania so is best western in pa indiana city
