What an honour to have the man that I've watched for years and that I've admired finally work on my only pair of dress shoes! Steve, I cannot thank you enough. I look forward to growing old with these shoes and returning to the video to watch how they were re-crafted... maybe one day pass the pair onto my son. Appreciatively, J. Boadi P.S. I will try my best to find a cobbler as good as you here in Ontario and within Canada. Thank you for encouraging us to spend money locally, however our only hope is that the customer service and overall outcome is as good as what you have offered. EDIT: For those that are wondering why I would send CLs to Steve even after paying for them at their retail price: It was an impulsive purchase back in 2017 and since then I’ve only worn the shoe twice. As I’ve gotten older, Ive realized that I am not a fan of wearing items that are too noticeable to the average individual; especially if others that know what I’m wearing costs thousands of dollars. Hated the pointing and attention the shoes got when walking down the street.

The fundamental aspect of Louboutin shoes is the red sole. After seeing at the before you started work on them how horrible they wear, I understand the customer's desire to keep it natural. The red touches nicely keep the spirit of a Louboutin shoe!

Fabulous job! I think it’s smart to give your price, it keeps the phone from ringing with people wasting your time looking for cheap work. You do quality work and you deserve to get paid a fair wage!

Whats nice about the work you do Steve, is the quality and full attention to detail. You never just get a job and do the basic, you always go above and beyond. You fulfill your clients brief but still add a unique, handcrafted and thoroughly beautiful work at the end. There's no scrapping by, making do. You only create the best of the best. Often your work is far superior to that of anything done by the manufacturer

Amazing, you really caught the essence of the shoes. When I was working and wasn’t disabled or skint I used a bonus to buy a pair of drop dead gorgeous CL stillies and was horrified to see how the soles marked and discoloured. Now I don’t get designer but fabulous quirky shoes that I don’t need to worry about the soles I dearly wish we had a local cobbler, we used to have a fabulous cobbler till he retired. Now all there is within a 20 mile radius at least is chain heel bars 😖

Oh, I wished my town still had a shoe repair shop. The last one closed down almost 10 years ago. What´s left is taking your shoe repairs to a not shoe related shop that passes them on to some repair place (which is the quick repair kind and delivers poor work at high prices.) Meanwhile I´m my own inhouse shoe repair shop. This way if the repair turns out poor I can always try and make it better or do it again at only the cost of the material and will learn with each sole cover or heel I do.

So many local cobblers take shortcuts and do sloppy jobs. Hard to know whose work to trust especially if you can't look inside the shoe yourself once it's done. We need a Bedo's network! Also, about prices, I like hearing them. Would it be possible to share a breakdown (not for every shoe you do, of course)? Just curious, like the JR soles are X, the fact that it's blind stitch is an extra Y, the french tip is Z. Just curious - I know not every pair is nearly $500, so it would be cool to see what things add cost and if someone wanted a very basic resole how much that would be.
