Four couples, three bedrooms, one long night.
Ernest and Delia consume pilchards to celebrate their wedding anniversary. An incapacitated Nick is bedridden, while his wife, Jan, goes to the housewarming party of Malcolm and Kate. The latter two are enjoying childish pranks - hiding each other's belongings - and attempting a little DIY!
Meanwhile, Trevor (the dysfunctional son of Ernest and Delia) and his neurotic wife, Suzannah, manage to cause chaos by bringing their problems to all three bedrooms.
A comic slice of middle-class life in the 1970s, Bedroom Farce is one of Ayckbourn's funniest, most fast-paced plays.
