I too have made paint choice mistakes. I’m always in too big of a hurry. The first color you painted was warmer, not so silvery, but the second choice was definitely the winner in my book. Lovely refresh. I have done projects like these many times for people. You work with what they want and within their budget, but it can still be nice even if it isn’t exactly how you would do it for yourself. ☺️

Wonderful job Jenell! It looks so great. I love seeing makeovers that work with existing constraints (the wood furniture) and try to compliment them rather than having a clean slate. Your editing and camerawork are excellent - you're clearly a pro and have also done your research on this kind of content. Looking forward to seeing this channel blow up. I'm so interested in your upholstery background & it would be great to get more detail on what you're doing as you do it (e.g. I'm using this kind of foam for this level of comfort, here's how I'm dealing with the corners) - most DIY youtubers don't have professional experience of any aspect of their DIYs so it would be cool to get some nuggets from your experience. This was a fun challenge- it definitely would've been much easier to work with a big budget and replace everything, but I am so happy with how this turned out, working with the exiting pieces rather than trying to force them into a style they don't go with. And thank you for the feedback, we intended to add in more about the bench but it just got way too long 😅

Thanks so much! 😊 Honestly, the furniture really is beautiful and it's hard to find solid wood furniture for a reasonable price these days- this was a makeover on a budget for sure. It was a fun challenge to design around existing elements!
