Hi love thank you so much! I thrifted it and it isn't secured, it just stands on the dresser and is pretty sturdy like that. I haven't had any issues or concerns!

Omg I love it, I use a top sheet but I've slept without a top sheet before and it feels so cozy. I do not get hot! If you checkout the link you will see its meant for hot sleepers I believe so it stays pretty cool!
