Oh my God! I love the Nordic gods and goddesses! I keep re-listening to the six hour one that you made and realising oh I must’ve fell asleep there and I must’ve fell asleep there and then I realise hang on a second this is what this app is for and I’m listening to it during the daytime to find out what happened! Which is actually proof that it does what it is supposed to do and I just want to thank you so much for those nights when I couldn’t sleep and this app I mean channel is my godsend!♥️♥️♥️

The pronunciation is correct. It's pronounced in the way it would have been - if you look up Dr Jackson Crawford's videos about Freya, he pronounces it the same way! Very excited for this, and thrilled with the effort made to pronounce it the way the Vikings would have ☺️

Thank you thank you! I was getting worried when you didn’t release a video on Tuesday (Australian time!) or Thursday. I love and rely on these so much so thank you once again!

Sorry for that, it happened on Wed evening (European time :D), when we usually release, that I was extremely tired - cannot even recall if I ever was that tired, my gosh - and I was not able to finish the description and other needed things before publishing, and had to postpone the video. But don't worry, we have prepared scripts and working on recording narrations for the next couple of months in advance, so we won't stop publishing the stories any time soon :D

Thank you for replying and I’m sorry you were so tired. Hope you are now well rested and really glad to hear you have lots more for us yet to come!

🥰 I was completely feeling this story from the language to the falcon cape and big cats used as chariot horses. Then we got to the part with the husband and his business trips and I was thinking this would never work for me as we cannot leave a room in this house to go to another part without announcing where we were going and why 😅 Even college roommates had to give a brief idea of their whereabouts so we would know whether to contact their families or authorities if they didn't return when they said they would. I feel like we left the party at the end of the story before the goat pulling 😁 how very diplomatic 😉 Moral of the story: even open minded/hearted Goddesses have their boundaries and that is why you love ❤ them 😘

Thank you for the support! 😊 We completely understand people who are sensitive about grammar, pronunciation etc. and we are very careful about it - but whenever is possible we try to add more to our stories and to use original pronunciation - and sometimes it might be confusing, even annoying :)) not to mention how hard it might be for our narrators to read correctly haha - but at the end we believe we give overall better experience to our listeners 💙

Love these videos, but you mispronounced almost every name and place in this story.
@SoothingPod2 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks for listening! The pronunciations of names and places correspond to the actual old Norse pronunciations. We were trying to be more faithful to the original language rather than the present-day norm. Hope you enjoyed the story anyway. 💐
