The idea of a continuing existence despite the passing of a person’s physical form is one that has long fascinated humanity. But what if it were possible to force such an entity into being via the use of nothing more than sheer willpower? In this episode we will examine a case in which that concept was tested and resulted in some degree of success. An undertaking which became known as the Philip Experiment.

Firstly. There are no such things as ghosts, or spirits of the dead who have not moved on. There are spirits (angels,demons). Angels, according to word protect followers of Christ. I do not believe they interact or speak with us. However, demons watch, study and prey on humans for our soul. They know others in our lives. They can take any form. This is why God urges us to protect our spirits thru faith. Demons lure people in thru their weaknesses. If a loved one passes away, you are not interacting with grandma, or your spouse. A demon is luring you in. If you are past that and being tormented, you know it's nature. They want your soul. This is why we are warned of consulting mystics, medians, fortune tellers, etc. They are real, but real evil. This channel should educated it's viewers in these facts. However, it will not because it may hurt it's status or loose it's crowd. Is it better than to misrepresent others and loose your soul?🤔

I once read a study that 30% of writers admit that they talk to their characters in their head as if they were people with their own will and ideas. All the writers i know talk about about the character "not wanting to go with the plot" or "deciding this without my permission." I find it likely that whatever writers are experiencing is similar or the same phenomenon as in this study.

No, no. It's good writing, I remember a language course on Uni that explains characters should have their own speech, reasons, and will. Bad writing comes when someone does something he/she would never do. You can disagree with them in everything, but they are they own. So, stop thinking you're conjuring tulpas into existence only cause you're overthinking what they should or shouldn't do

Thankfully, I'm not one of those people. I imagine scenes playing out as if they were movies and sometimes I even act out scenes to try and get details right but never had one of my characters go "Nah, I'd rather not have my leg blown off by a landmine."
@GloomyGhost28
@GloomyGhost28 4 ай бұрын
@annebird9195 Well, that's interesting. Maybe they have them really defined on their minds. You should try to challenge your characters in a deeper way. Something I would use to do is make them argue with another character that represents vastly different things and thought differently. Or make them go through truly life changing events. But it is still a bit odd, so I don't know. Take them out of their comfort zone more often, that's really fun and would help you become better writer regardless

Tulpas are completely fascinating to me, if a little unnerving (and certainly not something that I would dabble with myself). The question is, are they genuine thought-forms, or do other entities to slip in and assume the identity of the tulpa? Either way, there does seem to be some kind of latent power within the human mind that allows us to shape the reality around us. The implications are incredible. I often wonder if some of the more outlandish poltergeist cases (Gef the mongoose, for example, or the Bell Witch) might be somehow related to this phenomenon.

There may be something to Dr. Owen's opinion that through "guilt or trauma" one may manifest a paranormal experience. On that note, the one thing lacking in these experiments was "guilt or trauma" from personal attachment to the characters (they are fabricated). There is a considerable difference between becoming attached to characters in a story, whether fabricated, or real, and personal attachment to once living people that are created through our life experiences. I am currently going through this myself due to the loss of my son a year ago. I have often told him that he is welcome back anytime he wants, even if it is just to watch some wild KZbin videos with me. So far he has not responded. I do enjoy watching "Bedtime Stories", I've only watched a few, but they are very thought-provoking. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not saying I believe this, but it doesn't explain the phenomena. My girlfriend's house is haunted (at times). Noises. Moving objects (small movements), smells (flowers, smoke). No visual manefestations. She's not scared one bit. She says "Nothing can hurt you". But. These can be heard by her dogs. Over the telephone. Movements of doors (once even rattling and nothing on the other side). These are not created by her mind. I don't know what they are. Moments of other dimensions or times? Ghosts? Who knows - but they can be heard and observed if she is not even home. So no- this is not the thing that causes things to happen. Whatever they are.

Medications only suppress the illness. There souls, spirit and body needs to be cleaned up by GOD. This is what demons do, send you crazy then they have the human body, spirt-body and soul. The demons cannot kill the soul but they suppress it by bindings in enslavement by Satan, A SHORT LIFE IN DISABILITIES and Medication again. 😔✔️. Watch out for witches they can conjure up witch transport on broomsticks, motorbikes, or a horse at night, it’s Satan doing this, and they SPELL-BOUND you while you sleep. The Siren Call of Hungry Ghosts by the late Joe Fisher shows the possible deception and trickery when dealing with such entities. Also The Trickster and the Paranormal by George P. Hanson. The Scole Experiments were highly unsettling imo too. Also the Hades Experiment and the death of Robert Antoszczyk.

There was a similar entity / experiment done in Toronto in the mid 70's I believe. The entity spoke with a very strange voice and referred to themselves as Seth.

Doing this, you wouldn't summon a fictional ghost, you would open a invitation for a demon.

How can you say with such certainty that ghosts are fictional, but not see it in your own religious beliefs? I might argue that ghosts make significantly more sense than religion.

It's funny, Ghostbusters has a similar concept in that while some ghosts are spirits of the deceased, others are psychic manifestations left behind as imprints of the human mind.

I had my experience with an egregore, made by my ex while I was still living in the same flat as she was with her new boyfriend (I was looking for a new place for rent). One evening while I was trying to fall asleep I heard someone (thought to be my ex) whisper my name, so I responded, only to find out nobody was in the room with me. Long story short, I hurried my efforts at finding a new apartment lol. Fortunately it didn't travel with me.

there is anothero ption than a thought form, tey opened the door and called to a 'ghost' someone responded, it doesn't have to be the person. This is a common issue with seances- that you reach out to uncle bob, but how do you know it was uncle bob that answered?

I'm sure I've known this story, reminding of the Scole experiment. I know that contacting spirits unintentionally can turn out badly, especially with an ouija board. A ghost app on a phone simply messing around can attract an attachment, a have seen it happen, I tend to believe this story being intelligent, and not a thought summoning...

The more I learn about paranormal and supernatural phenomena, the more it seems that individual people may often see and encounter different things and entities, but it makes me wonder if they are perceiving similar phenomenon but experiencing it in different ways because of their personal orientation and understanding of the world around them. Could two people seeing an unfamiliar humanoid in the woods actually be seeing the same entity, though one sees it as a pale crawler and the other sees it as a bigfoot? Or as with this video, they're all experiencing the paranormal but their internal senses are processing it in individual ways.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
