One of the biggest things I can't get out of my mind after all these years. During the 911 call Patsy says "im THE mother" To me that just resonates she is working off of a kind of script like her and John had to put together a storyline. A mother with an actual kidnapped daughter would have responded "I'm HER Mother"
@bills6093 Жыл бұрын
"I'm the mother" is pretty common when the daughter is the center of attention, I think. At pageants, when the child is the star, "I'm the mother /I'm the father" would be a normal expression, imo.

No fingerprints on the ransom letter would make sense if Patsy was the author..her close friends whom she called over on December 26 would have probably recognized the author’s handwriting and style. An example is that when I receive a letter in the mail from a friend, sometimes I know from their distinct writing who addressed it.

Why does no one seem to notice the very strange exchange between John and Patsy during one of their first interviews. Patsy Ramsy is crying and seems like she is extremely medicated, but she says..."keep your babies close to you"! As she says that, John, not even looking directly at Patsy, turns toward her and mouths exactly what she says, as she says it. Almost as if he programmed her to say that and forgot he was mouthing exactly what she said at the exact same time. How did he know that she would say that? In the U.K. the definition of murder is determined by the case of Hyam v DPP 1976 -and essentially this case says that you don’t have to desire that your actions will cause death but if your actions are so obviously going to cause risk of serious injury or death then you are guilty of murder. So I believe in the UK that if you garrotte a child of six, you would be convicted of murder and not manslaughter.

Both were offered employment, became naturalized US citizens, thus making my siblings and I American citizens by birth. Im including all this not to boar you with my family tree. There is a method to my madness. Upon completion of your video's or one of your books, there are two aspects of your obvious learned skills as it pertains to your investigation of " true crime" cases, breaking it down into simpler digestible pieces for your books or videos. There are two skills one each that remind me of both my parents. Your writing style is spot on like my mother's style. She is still with us. Linguistics in particular dead or dying languages. Her research was mainly focused on Aramaic, and Sanskrit. My father who passed relatively young, possessed finely honed analytical skills as do you. He was forever reminding us not to get caught up in proving ourselves right. As no one is always right. If one is constantly using their voice yelling about why their way is right, their ears will miss out hearing and learning another's way when they are the one who this time is correct! The pineapples and cream comes from Muriel Spark, Patsy's favorite author, with whom Patsy had an identity fusion when she was Patsy Paugh, before she met John. Feeding JB pineapples and cream was Patsy's way of giving JB happiness before she deliberately killed her. Patsy then took JB to the basement and tied JB in the garrote which Patsy had already made. She choked JB unconscious, staged her like an angel by putting the garotte over JB's head (the sacrifice), and then delivered the head blow. Patsy then took JB down and put her on the floor, setting up the aborted kidnapping sequence. Patsy then went upstairs and wrote the note. Patsy never went to bed that night. JB died between 12 and 1 in the morning. John knew nothing because he and Patsy slept in separate rooms. Patsy had full, unfettered access to JB.

The circumstantial evidence like the Ramsey’s behaviors, what they said, and media manipulation point toward one common thread: The Ramseys. They know what happened. Having kids in the house my thought would be seeing a yellow note pad sheets on the treads on my homes stairs of similar familiar paper i used for notes, etc, I think I would first think my kids were playing some kind of prank. The 911 call.... Patsy is frantically, and loudly, drawing attention to the note. Didn't mention her child's name. Says "help me". If you thought you were being observed somehow, after a threat that your child would be killed if you called the police, wouldn't you frantically whisper at least? Or even run to a neighbour's to phone the police? She showed no concern for the child's welfare in the situation she was meant to believe was going on. Sounds like Burke came to see what was going on and his father said "we're not talking to you" (meaning the loud frantic voice was not for him but his mother talking to someone else on the phone). Then it sounds like the father realises what his wife has done. But what was her motive? Jonbenet had trauma to her privates of ongoing abuse there. If it was her brother who did that to her at 9yrs old would the mother be so grossed out she wanted to kill the daughter? No. But what if she found out it was her husband? It's not childish curiosity then. It's betrayal, perversion, threat, insult etc. A man idolising his glamorous daughter. Hence the book Patsy reads for information and her massive ransom note with the inability to use the girl's name in it. The father realised why she'd killed Jonbenet and had to keep his mouth shut for his own sake. Even the fact that he apparently found her body and carried it up from the cellar is odd because what would any other parent do on finding their little girl dead? Collapse to the floor and cry out for the police! Not have the strength in his legs, and mind, to pick up and carry her up the stairs. And just because there was a bowl with pineapple in it, that doesn't mean it was Burke's. His fingerprints were on the bowl but from when? Patsy's were too. But he could have easily touched the bowl, even unloaded it from the dishwasher. People surmise that patsy probably was the one who took it from the dishwasher but a 9yr old could. The pineapple could have been used to entice Jonbenet down. Hence there was some in her stomach yet the bowl was still sitting there pretty full. Some have speculated that she nicked a piece of Burke's and he got mad and killed her...garotting her in the basement because people keep things like that in there! No ... that's not feasible because he would have had bigger reasons to kill her and needed adult strength and control to use a garotte.... which was homemade. Not a 9yr old's handywork.

TCRS is a waste of time and money and, apparently, without the facts. Apparently a lot of other ppl are dumber than you. What's the story behind the anger? It's the age old wisdom, if you don't like what you see on the TV, change the channel. Otherwise, be a good teacher and let ppl evolve and learn at their own pace.

Burke was 9. How could he make a garotte and use it so powerfully? The massive skull damage from her being hit was far more indicative of an adult. The bowl of pineapple? From what time? If the kids liked pineapple in a bowl like that it doesn't mean that it was a murderous boy's snack. He may have been caught sneaking down and getting himself some and was sent back up to bed. Then Jonbenet could have picked some out of the bowl without picking up the bowl. Its strange though. Its like it was planned. Could there have been a painful discovery by Patsy of her husband with Jonbenet? There were signs of sexual abuse. Then the faking of a scene with duct tape that was put on after death, tied hands that were not tight enough on one hand so more likely to be after death, a 3 page ransom letter.... definitely a woman's thing to go into detail. Also the suspicious book in the parents bedroom. Burke wasn't the one reading that. Even if they wanted to protect Burke they wouldn't manage to be so cool if he had ended his sister's life, including writing a 3 page letter. But it makes more sense that Patsy found out something awful about her husband with her adult-looking 6yr old. He would never be able to tell anyone about Patsy getting rid of the "doll" they made. And she would have to remain silent about what happened. Burke wasn't some 9yr old, criminal mastermind.

Her father was not fully into the pageants, he had other things to do, work, travel, being a big man of means, and he may have molested her or knew about the molesting which would have exploded his world. Patsy Ramsey was in a frenzy when she called 911 but when the detective arrived according to her account everyone was calmer. Then by 1:00 p.m. is when she suggested to John Ramsey and the friend to search the house from top to bottom. Also I believe that you said something about a book about MK Ultra was found on John's desk. My recollection from the documentary (and granted it is from memory) was that Patsy was downstairs either wrapping some last minute gifts, or ironing some items for packing. I understood that was why she was there with Burke as he was eating pineapple and having tea ?? Was there not already an incident in which Burke had, shortly before Joh Benet's death, deliberately hit his sister with a golf club in a fit of anger, indicating he was prone to grab a 'weapon' to hit out with. I found the documentary extremely persuasive, and supportive of my initial feeling that Burke killed his sister by semi accident, and Patsy (later John) tried to cover it up, and alter the evidence about the circumstances. I find descriptions of Burke's love and nurturing relationship with his sister rather suspect as she clearly had replaced him as the focus of her mother's attention and created serious sibling rivalry.

The only way that "What did you do?" family involved scenario works is if John had already written the note overnight, and Patsy was not actually aware of what really happened, and she assumed Burke was involved, or was told Burke was involved.
