This is my favorite Bee Gees song. I was a kid when it came out and my best memory of it is my older sister and me hearing the song in our house around Christmas time at night and deciding to go out for a walk in the bitter cold ..and me thinking I'm a badass because I'm in my beautifully tailored perfect black maxi coat my mother bought me and THIS song was running through my head constantly... .....there was such a sense of excitement in the air that dark night and nobody was around... and I knew I had my whole life ahead of me... and the world was opening up . . And Llonely days Lonely Nights just kept playing in my head as we talked... and Lonely days Lonely Nights just kept playing in my head as we walked .

Oh boy this song takes me back to my Senior year of high school late November or so 1970. My classmates (me and the other guys) would sing the verse all the way up to "where would I be without my Woman"...but we would substitute "Woman" with a known girl's name. It could have been paired girlfriend/boyfriend combos known to the class just to tease or perhaps a "babe" that all the guys knew was unattainable. All in all great memories!

When Maurice and Robin first get into their cars, the steering wheel is on the left. When Barry gets into his car, the steering wheel is on the right.
