me too. Entered the Army as a WAC on July 30' 1970 day after my 18 birthday. I started listening to these guys and many others while having the privilege to care for our young men that came home from Vietnam. My main station was Walter Reed Medical Center (the first one) I loved the music from Bee Gees to the Carpenters. We Sang and Danced to all!

He's my mom's love, lol. She would have probably passed out. No,, she would have been a class act lady. I don't know how I would be... I introduced the Bee Gees to my family at a very young age and I love all of them like they are family.. Mom came looking for me when Maurice passed, I was in a bar bawling and most didn't say anything but my sister said you didn't even know him and I was like are you serious?! Every time my son sees anything about the Bee Gees, he gets it for his momma. Yes, I'm including Andy. 💞🫶🥰

I'm the oldest of nine children, 6 brothers and 2 sisters, I'm 59 and the youngest will be 47 Feb. 28th. We all still have each other and it's a miracle. Blessings within blessings. Most dysfunctional yet loving family ever. They all love the Gibb family because I was always listening to them and blaring them throughout the house and our lives. I have some major issues with a sister and I'm praying how to peacefully deal with it all and you just reminded me not to give up and just keep showing her and all of them love. God speed 🙏🏼❤️

I have loved the Bee gees for 45 years from my 16. I always sing their songs to make friends and i did it very well. Many friends asked me about the name of the band and they all loved them like me until now and will last forever. I am from Taiwan but I regard me as a Bee gees family member and i think many guys are the same feeling as me. We are family when we all fall in love with these unforgettable songs. I am from Malaysia.In 1972 the Bee Gees performed in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and I was lucky to have watched them.. Then from 1974 till end 1979 I was studying design at the Leeds Beckett University. My dad recorded this concert on VHS back when it aired, and would have it playing all the time while I was in middle and high school. I thought it was really dorky watching my dad dance around the house singing falsetto. Now that he's in his 70's, with MS, and really grumpy, I look back on those times where he actually was happy for those fleeting moments. As I am now expecting my first, and realizing that I'm already grumpy, I will sing and dance to the Bee Gees while my wife thinks I'm a dork.

My name is susan lea and am 73 and only have come back around to being obsessed with the Bee Gees and just watching Barry's expressions while he sings can't really be explained. In one way his expressions have the look of a child. I have never been mesmerized by a musical artist, or anyone else, as far as that goes, but what can I say? He just has IT !!! I love all of them, they are simply profound !!! I keep seeing that Barry has passed but cannot really find out the real truth. I hope he does see how much people appreciate him and his brothers !!

This is one of my favorite Bee Gees concerts. Music was so clear and each closeup was impeccably clear, their voices/harmonies were so tight. One of their best shows. All 3 looked soooooo good especially Barry. They were so tight in their timing with each member singing their words at the same time. We get to hear how great. MO’s voice was and didn’t he look exceptionally sharp that night. I loved his choice of hats and coats. He really was very handsome. Robins voice was his instrument,unique and so lovely. It looks like this was around the time he started looking thinner and I wonder if he had been diagnosed with cancer and just kept it from his brothers, he used to be a heavy smoker during that time. I think they all were, I wish they all would have quit smoking sooner. I just love this Group so much. I wish they all could have lived longer lifetimes. I miss this so much. I listen to them on a regular basis. I know we all grow old if we live long enough but Andy was way too soon and so were Mo and Robin. I’m so glad they left all of the beautiful videos and music clips and funny clips they left for us. God, please Leave Barry with us a little longer but don’t left him suffer. I keep seeing these clips on KZbin where he has died and my husband asks me why are you crying and I show him what I’m reading. He comes back a few minutes later and says “ that’s a lie". He looks it up on some website and it shows Barry accepting an award at some special awards show the night before. Thank God for the BeeGees❤. I’ll always love them❣️💜💜💜💜

I still love their music, they were the best of the best, set the bar... I was in high school in the 60's when their songs were always on the radio. In my 20's (dating my husband) when Saturday Night Fever came out, great memories. All 50 years of their work is timeless. Amazing harmony. RIP Andy, Maurice, & Robin. Totally totally agree. No one can hold a candle to the three when it comes to terrific voices. Pay attention people. Much of the music afterwords I consider noise - heavy metal, rap, you name it. The BeeGees and Billy Joel came from my generation and nary anyone else who followed comes close. Their music will live on for many, many more decades long after they all have passed on. maggiecava, Scottsdale, AZ , 2024, and 80 years young in June.

Absolutely agree 💯 I'm the oldest of nine children and I was the age of Saturday Night Fever however I fell in love with them so much and Mom and I went to a yard sale and I saw an album that said Bee Gees and I'm like what is this and definitely got it , it was their 60s and I fell in love with Words and every single one and they just kept going 5 decades and I still watch every thing I can. My mom came looking for me when Maurice passed It's so suddenly like that because she just knew I was going to be hit hard and I was and I was an alcoholic so I was in the bars bawling and people were making fun of me and said you didn't even know this person and I said these brothers have been with me since childhood and got me through so much that they don't even know. They got me through so much trauma that nobody else even seem to care about and I love them, they were there for me more than my family that I lived with if that makes or should I say they did more for me than what my family did and I'm sure I'm not the only one but they are family. And now my siblings and my my mother love them as well and my children started buying me things they would see the Bee Gees on something and they would buy it for their mama. That's love my people and I love you all too. We're family. Godspeed.

Not sure if you've watched it or not but there is a reporter that did a session with Barry and he talked about his brothers a lot. It was so very sad when he started talking about Robin and the years they spent not talking to each other. It certainly brought me to tears because you could tell that Barry loved his brothers so very much. I will never tire of listening to them sing together. I think we love their harmonies and voices so much, we tend to forget that they wrote these songs and so many more performed by other artists. They’re full circle artists… so extremely rare. We are blessed so strongly that we lived at the same time as them.

I was born into a big family of seven sisters and I'm the eighth, the youngist. I distinctly remember when I was 5 yrs old hearing my sisters playing the Bee Gees on the living room stereo player. I know their songs so well because my sisters would sing there songs to me like they were reading a book to me. I fell in love with the Bee Gees music and so much more. I can't pin point the music that I love because I love it all.
