The Bee Gees are unique, as you said, in voices and they wrote all their our songs. Over 1000+ songs for themselves and for other top artists. Their harmonies and vocal range are unparalleled. Barry just celebrated his 78th birthday on September 1st. It was also he and Linda's 54th wedding anniversary. Barry was born in 1946 and the group was established in 1958. They started young. They wrote all of their songs.

Great to see you again😀!! Yes, they're so very young here. Barry is 21 about, and the twins are three years younger.They wrote their songs. They shared their gifts by writing, for others, too. This one was original written for Otis Redding to record, but he died in a plane crash, along with his band, so the brothers released it themselves.It's one of their most covered songs Janis Joplin, Nina Simone, the Animals, among the earliest.

Most sources have it that this song wasn't really the one they wrote for Otis - that would be End Of My Song, which they demo'd but didn't legitimately release.
