I'm 61 years old and the Bee Gees have been my favorite group since my teenage years. No group can top them in my heart. Call me biased if you want, but, they proved their amazing musical talent and not only as the best group ever but as the best song writers of their generation. They are legends. I will be a Bee Gees fan. My guys as I call them. Forever in my ❤.

I believe Carol King said as far as she was concerned it was their song after hearing this. They're masters of harmony and soul. Beautiful. When Robin comes it it's like cream and cool whi ppl on top of cake. Maurice's voice brings it together.

One of my favourites❤ rare is them covering a song ( Beatles songs in the Sgt Pepper movie the main one) but this was for a Carole King tribute album and they absolutely killed this!

One of the few songs they didn’t write but their version just killed it. No one can sing a song with more emotion than The Bee Gees, you can feel it deep in your soul. This song is sung with such passion. This is a Carol King song they didn't do many other people's songs but this is my very favorite. I love everything about it. I love the Bee Gees they are the best. A beautiful ballet lead by Robin is.... Don't Fall in Love with me Baby... I love that you enjoy the Bee Gees the way I do! Thanks Eddy

I believe they did this as part of a Carol King tribute album. Not 100% sure and don't know the details, perhaps someone else can confirm. It is a beautiful version. The didn't do many covers and most were in the early days. Their cover of "Blowing in the Wind" is great and really showcased their talent at a very young age. I also love their cover of the Beatles' "Ticket to Ride". They of course did the Sgt. Pepper move/soundtrack and covered a few there - the best of that bunch is Robin's cover of Oh!Darling - brilliant. Great reaction, as always!!

They really were the kings of singin' emotional. But exactly that's the point why many music-listeners didn't like them at all. That kinda people don't want to drown in emotional-overflows, wearing a shield to stay strong. But that's to me like being chained!

It's not often that the Bee Gees sing some one else song...I think the Sherelles if I'm spelling that right sang this back in the 60s...of course I wasn't born yet however this song was played on the radio in the 70s...there was always music playing in our house so I grew up listening to music all the time and I have a good ear for music...the brothers could sing a lullaby and make it sound like Angels singing...love the Bee Gees

Although they VERY seldom covered others' songs, Robin's version of "O Darling" is IMO better than McCartney's original and I love McCartney. The guy directing the orchestra is Arif Mardin a producer for Atlantic Records who @ 1975 told them to start all over again and go in a different direction, R&B. He was right. @ 4:45...yes, that voice....Barry said nobody could copy it. Another MUST SEE medley is from their "One for All" 1989 tour in Melbourne. You get to see their personalities and interaction as brothers and each one's great voice. They also did bits of a few songs the brothers wrote for other stars. The photo at 5:40 is so typical. You can tell by Barry trying not to laugh and Maurice smiling that Robin just told one of his naughty jokes. He's just sitting there smirking like a bad little boy.

At 6:01 you can see Barry's scald/burn scars that he told about in one of the documentary parts you were listening to. They covered/recorded this to honor Carol King, original writer and singer, and I LOVE our Brothers version the MOST!! It is gorgeous!! I only wish that Mo would have sang one of the verses, I LOVE his voice too!! Oh, lots of suggestions! Have you done One, Mr. Natural, Walking on Air, Deja Vu, Happy Ever After, Paradise, Paying the Price of Love?? Also, you could do ANYTHING from Still Waters album and it would be fabulous!! ❤❤❤
