Mead is made with honey. A cup of mead was given to newly married couples right before going to the bedroom for the first time. I think it was supposed to give them energy. 😂. I loved both of the oracles shown, they both looked soooooo good.

This was such a cosy video to watch 🐝 I think this has what I wanted from The Witches Garden (but didn't buy in the end). I was so sold on the minors in the wands and cups, but the courts are a let down, it's a pet peeve of mine when they look interchangeable like that! The repetition in the swords minors is not my fave either. It feels a little like maybe they were pushed for time? That little Forest Fae deck is so sweet though, might have to get that. Thanks for sharing 💖

It does give me Witches Garden vibes, and it definitely feels rushed with all the repeated imagery. I didn't really notice it until I did the walkthrough so I'm glad I did, it is a bit disappointing as someone who was irrationally excited for this deck lol. Thanks for watching! 🥰🐝

The artwork is GORGEOUS and different. Very on theme which is appreciated. It’s a shame about the courts - it’s just like Yuletide Tarot which made me dislike the deck. 😢 great walkthrough. The guidebook looks lovely too.

This is a beautiful deck that I'm not really tempted by and even less so with the courts the way they are. It was the same in the Yule deck. I can't figure out why Llewellyn is doing that. Beautiful nonetheless!

I have to admit the courts were a bit disappointing! If they are like that in the Yule deck too maybe it’s the way the author is describing to the artists what he wants illustrated.
