Animesh Meshram have you seen that pixel 3's new renders it looks ugly asf I'm not denying the fact that Samsung ui sucks when compared to pixel UI and pixel's camera is also good but Samsung looks amazing and has Earphones jack and display is darn amazing of Samsung s9 and s9+ when compared to pixel or any other flagships only because great camera I can't choose pixel there are other things to be considered too it's just my perspective.

Both phones have their pros and cons and I agree that asus need to do some more work. But what Asus has done is really remarkable and I am quite impressed. Finally OnePlus has some competition. Since the launch of OnePlus 6 I have had this feeling that OnePlus 6 pricing somwhow was not correct.I was not convinced even though I gave both thumbs up to OnePlus 6 in my video as a product.I have this thoought that OnePlus was taking the advantage of the situation and because it did not have any competition in its segment it has been pricing it's phone little bit on the higher side. And now after the launch of Zenfone 5 discount on OnePlus 6 validate my reasoning. I find Zenfone absolutely value for money phone, complete Paisa vasool package. It is a killer deal. And if with time asus brings improvements with software updates in Z5 then Asus has really got bright future in India. I am not sure the camera test was done before or after the FOTA update. I am waiting for the Zenfone 5Z to arrive. Bloody Flipkart has delayed it even after taking fee for the next day delivery. Will soon be posting my first ever review soon. You guys rock and are truly a huge inspiration to a new KZbinr like me...

AB Tech Marathi I wouldn't say everyone, but this was by far the toughest review on the Asus Zenfone 5Z I've seen. I have the Oneplus 5T and not the 6. It definitely has some features I wish my 5T had. Mainly stereo speakers, and a wide angle lens. Don't care about emojis, although it is something else the Oneplus phones lack. The Asus make scratch easier, but tests have shown if you drop the Oneplus 6, even with a nylon case on it, the glass is probably going to shatter. It's all simply his opinion though, and I don't think anyone should strictly follow the opinion of any one single reviewer.

I have a zenfone 5z and my brother a oneplus 6. Personally, I prefer Zenfone 5z. The first thing is the design the meteor silver is drop dead gorgeous. It turns many eyes when you are out. Then the display I find Zenfone 5z display better than oneplus, it's my personal preference and overall front design. Coming to speaker and audio out quality zenfone 5z is a clear winner. The performance on both devices is similar. I like Zenui better than oxygen os as it is brighter and I hate the dark looks of oxygen os. And Zenfone has a ton of features which helps me to customize the ui exactly to my liking. Lastly, cameras I am not into photography but the quality seems decent certainly not as bad as he made it sound. And I got this beauty just for 23k on flipkart. Beat that oneplus! If you are an audio person, better design, great performance, good display, a ton of useful ui features and don't care much about cameras. Go for this beauty! You won't be disappointed!! P.s. I have used phones from almost all the brands - samsung, nokia, mi, oneplus, oppo, honor, sony and lenovo. But Asus genuinely surprises me everytime with performance. (USED ZENFONE 5 1st gen and Zenfone 2).

Gorilla glass 3 doesn't make a difference than gorilla glass 4 because we are going to add a temper glass onto the screen. Water resistance is good but we just don't put our phone in the water just to confirm that its water resistant. I don't know about the camera, but blurring can be reduced. And the updates that are gonna come hopefully boosts the camera. 3000 mah battery is good as you need to last your battery a day. You're gonna charge your phone at the end of the day anyway. P.S - I am an LG K10 user. I haven't used either of the devices. I am just saying these based on my limited knowledge about daily usage of a smartphone

You can't say water resistance because it's not officially included in warranty....use Google camera APK on 5z then you will solve most of the problem...overall both are the best below 30k,35k...I have been using 5z.. everything is fine looks,build,camera, performance,feel, awesome audio and full package....35k is no more a budget range...got 5z for 27k...quite comfortable gap to justify its so called shortcomings...

Thanks bro, good review. It reaffirmed my decision for buying my awesome red OnePlus 6. I had the Zenfone 2 (intel edition) and it had piss poor quality, then I got the Zenfone 3 (4gb ram) and it was a massive improvement but still had a lot of cut corners but it was decently durable. Now I got the OP6 and it's a huge step up. The only thing I really miss is the ZenUI's rich features and beautiful looks
