It is implied heavily that the reason she visits him here is because the violence against Beecher in OZ was reported to her. Like the reports of him being involved in violence and being raped are recorded in the prison logs and she has read them. So she knows that the punishments are extreme. But when she sees Beecher she realizes that prison has changed him into a different person. The hot female lawyer that Beecher meets in later seasons has the same reaction. She gets involved with Beecher, sees that prison has changed him, and abandons him because she thinks he is a lost cause.
@Braindoner1013 жыл бұрын
@@Howard.Stern. Right. And he’s done so much to try to stay on the good side. Reunited his enemy Schilinger with his son, and schilinger ordered his son to kidnap his children, and killed his son. Branded Beecher with a swastika, got Keller to basically turn on Beecher, and so much more. He tried to kill Beecher through the black population with the shirt but didn’t expect him to retaliate. It was actually a funny scene because after he beat up Schilinger, he was cheered on despite the shirt… then again that was about when he went batshit crazy.
@Howard.Stern.3 жыл бұрын
@@Braindoner101 That scene where he wears the Confederate shirt was filmed for dark comedy. It's semi fitting what happened to Beecher. He was not remorseful enough accept the guilt of his crime and live with remorse in minimum security, but callously chose to game the system and get away scot-free. When Beecher was put on Oz he assumed that he was the Victim, but when he encountered his nemesis, Shillinger and faced the mother of his victim, he realized he was no victim of the system, he was just as bad as all the others there and scarily enough Beecher accepted his own criminal self and went after Shillinger for a while, when the judged wanted to see him he had already matured into a bigger criminal having accepted his guilt, this transformation from the fake beecher to the beecher who he really was, was chilling, and the Judge realized she had made the right decision.

Samuel Benitez No you are way off on that. Becker was a drunk. He had a wife and lived a somewhat normal life. He wasn’t a monster, he became one out of necessity. I’m a nice guy and try to do unto others as I would like done to me. I have empathy and for others and try to see things from their POV when ever there is an issue. I’ve also mad some bad decisions and got put in jail. I’m not a monster out victimizing other’s, but I’m not the same inside as I am out. It’s a different world inside. A different more animalistic mindset has to happen or you will be victimized. I don’t get fucked with and the few times people tried me, I showed them I won’t be victimized. You should also teach your kids to *NOT* ride their bikes in the middle of the road and to pay attention to what's going on around them. Of course, Beecher needed to be punished for what he did. But what he experienced in Oz was _way_ beyond what he deserved, especially considering that he didn't actually _intend_ to kill anyone. There's a fine line between justice and revenge, and the treatment Beecher received in Oz definitely crossed that line.

Beecher's experiences on the show should be a STRONG deterent from the senseless act of drinking and driving. Look at how much it cost him, and all the things he suffered. If you're going to drink, either walk to the bar, get an Uber/Taxi, or just stay at home. I'd reccomend the third option most, as it's way cheaper, and plus if you make an ass of yourself, which most people do after they've been drinking, there won't be others around to witness it, and thus you can save yourself some embarrassment.

I'll probably take a lashing for this, but I'll say this-our entire government, justice system, etc has been completely screwed up by the rise of feminism. Females aren't weaker-they're just built different. Since they're the nurturers they're governed by emotions which shouldn't have any place in law and government where logic must prevail. Now we have this whole PC culture 'so no one's feelings get hurt' that's destroying freedom, created an entire generation that doesn't know it's purpose in life, and silences any opposition. 'In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.' Welcome to the revolution.
