Beedrill RANT about Typing

I always thought Beedrill should be Poison flying or Bug Flying. Bug poison is an under utilization of his potential. Even Mega Bedrill could be so much better.

It's because Beedrill is based more on a wasp, whose only purpose in life is to be the spawn of satan and sting you. While Vespiquen is based on a queen honey bee, so there is less emphasis on the stinging considering that is not their only purpose. I don't it's a guess at least. Love that you're back.

Queen bees (usually) don’t sting, maybe that’s why Vespiquen isn’t Poison? As for Beedrill not being Flying, aren’t there a lot of other winged Pokemon that aren’t, particularly other Bug types? Off the top of my head, Venomoth is also Bug/Poison and Volbeat is pure Bug.

I think Pokemons would have a "second abilty". If a Pokemon can fly or levitates by some reason, they should be immune to ground attacks. You also debuff Levitate to make it weak against Rock-Types.

@@akafacts I never understood why he float when he is the only in his family to do so. Maybe because it was the lack of legs. You do other things with pokemon natural or power features. Lucario's Aura coud allow to counter evasions boosts. Slurpuff could do the same but smellycPokemon like Muk would damage 1/8 of current health to slurpuff if they were both on battle. You can do generic element Boost like Fish Pokemon or Pokemon that live in body of Water get a boost when they are near of Water and/or Rain.
