I went to the Guinness Storehouse last month and had that stew. Best damn stew I’ve ever had in my life. However, I’m trying to find a common ground because he did another video but used oil not, not butter, did not add flour, and he also took the beef out of the pan and cooked the veggies separately then added the beef back in. Also, in the other video he said foreign stout brew of Guinness, in this he just says Guinness. Tricky tricky. They’re being careful not to give out the actual recipe. Can’t blame them.

I cooked without flour and used a good stewing meat. It came out so good. The flour makes sense since he used sirloin and sirloin doesn't need a long time to cook so need to thicken the broth.

Doesnt matter if u use foeriegn extra stout or regular draft...but it is slightly better with the extra stout
