The non-members being in the PBA League is such a BAD take Barnes. You didn't complain when Ryan was snagging $30,000+ in the Players as a non-member. Imagine that.

Hardly the same thing. A one off event and the year long team event can hardly be compared. Whether Ryan should or shouldn’t have gotten prize money at the players isn’t really similar in my opinion. Makes literally no sense for non members to be in the Pba league, what value would that add to the Pba? (Beef Stu)

@@BeefandBarnzy respectfully Stu, there was ZERO value in those exemptions until there was value when Ryan made the show. He misses the cut, and no one thinks twice about it. Just call a spade a spade. From a logistics point of view, yes, it would be hard to make that work for a year long event. The elephant in the room, is that the non-member could potentially take money out of the pot of the league. You can't say it, but I can. I'm not out there bowling for a living, I've spent almost 30 years as a member missing cuts in regionals. Different perspectives, and I respect that view. But you can't tell me the principal of this isn't similar. Ryan bowled well. No debate that he should take that money, he earned it. He took advantage of what was afforded to him, exactly like you'd hoped any of those Shocker kids would have. But, he was a non-member who got an exemption and took money from members. It isn't that any different from PWBA people bowling the league as much as you want it to be. Cheers.

Being allow to enter an event, is very different be being guaranteed a check from the Pba league. I personally didn’t think it made a lot of sense for non members to bowl, but that is a completely different issue to non members bowling the Pba league, where you are basically paying an appearance fee. But as players, we have almost no input into who is and who isn’t allowed. We as a show have been very consistent in making the point that non touring players shouldn’t be bowling the Pba league. This far pre dates Ryan getting a spot into a ptq. 🤷 Out of interest, did you think the pwba or amateurs should be allowed to bowl the Pba league? Or are you just trying to drag Chris?
