My first thought before you said anything was that the Gem strike from the left did not look nearly as good as the MAX. It looked like it straightened out at the end, but had come over just far enough to still strike.

Better than the Gem, the cover microtrax solid is probably stronger than NRG if you are looking at the strength charts across both brands.

I think the equivalent to the cover on the GEM is the NEX. From what I remember NEX is the NRG on steroids. With Storm bringing back the NRG, it might make it more usable for a longer period of time. But only time will tell

@@robvoyles what you’re seeing is probably the NRG balls are cleaner and shape more down lane, and the NEX gassing out from energy loss bc of how strong it is. Stronger refers to earlier, not overall hook, so you’re seeing the weaker cover saving more energy to use downlane

I mentioned on the Brad&Kyle video it gives me Proton Physix vibes. Similar colors and similar-ish core numbers but the NEX on the PP is supposed to be stronger than NRG. Likely make this even more useable but even I probably wouldn't need it on a house shot. 😂 Proton is strictly for sport shots (maybe challenge if I were ever on one).
