The BEE GEES are too awesome and unique for anyone to match. I think these kids are talented in their own right and in their own way. Apples and Oranges - yes. None the less - talented. Man, the BEE GEES touched the heart, mind and soul deep to the core. Their music is more than just something you hear - you feel it, you breath it, IT becomes part of your whole being when you dance to it. These kids are entertainment. I am sure they will develop and entertain us more as they grow.

I loved the Bee Gees and miss them, especially Robin and his awesome voice, I just loved everything about Robin. I will add that the Bee Gees were the greatest band ever. This generation of of Gibb.s are like their dad's , very talented and like their dad's have their own unique voices and their different taste in music. They are good, and their dad's would be proud.and moms.

So Spencer IS Robin' s son from his 1st wife Molly. There are pictures of Robin' s children w/Molly on this video, however don' t usually see pictures of them. Except for old videos when they were quite young. What happened to Spencer over the years, did he leave the family for a while?

Each of the BeeGees and Andy had the X factor. They just had it. You see them and you know, they're special. To me none of the kids have it. So it is immaterial if they are 'good' musicians or singers. They just don't have that something extra. Perhaps its the lack of burning desire to succeed, to overcome poverty. Because they never had to struggle, in the way the Bee Gees did. Or the stars aligned and they just were meant to be the stars they were. To nourish the world.

I agree and he (Spencer) looks so much like Robin....wow! I have seen pics of them when Robin was younger and hard to tell who was who. Sam is OK. Stephen plays heavy metal OK....I just don't like heavy metal. Robin John is smart. Probably lots of music talent in the offspring BUT, There is no sense in looking for another generation of Bee Gees....just isn't going to happen. That was a once in a lifetime gift from God. And those of us that recognize this do as I do....listen to their music on radio, CDs, KZbin, etc. and thank God you lived in the time they were here and experienced them first hand!!! A gift from God....thank you for that.

Jean Bowlan You’re comment is spot on!!! We were blessed to live in the time of having The Bee Gees. They truly had a gift from God to touch us in a way any other group could. It’s 9 days till Mo & Robins birthday and I’m feeling very nostalgic. Just so thankful we have all the music and the memories of past times they give us. I’ve been listening to Main Course constantly the past few weeks. It was my first album at 10 yrs old. What an easier, simpler time it was in 1975 sitting in my bean bag chair wearing that album out. Three of the brothers spirits have flown but we’ll have the music forever!! R.I.P. Andy, Mo and Robin.

The best I can say is "interesting" ... the sounds do not reach my heart. I hear too much of their music having overtones of the harsh, hurried "performance" world we live in. Whereas the Bee Gees were in touch with innocence and had a sacred, celestial quality and there seemed to be a signature "hush" and surprise to most of their work, even the disco, even their use of simple syllables hinted at something ineffable, uplifting and positive. This music seems bolder, the sweetness seems contrived and if they were not nostalgically Gibb related by blood, I would probably not have any interest in exploring the sounds they make. I might say my heart hears a certain "smug" that predominates the current day. Bee Gees dug deep into the human psyche to remind us that this human life with its struggles and pitfalls, goes deep into the Divine. And I thank God for them I must listen every day.

RJ doesn't look anything like Robin and has a rather unremarkable singing voice. Spencer must have gotten all the good genes. He looks like his dad and he can sing. I thought it fitting that he chose to cover "Run To Me" (Run to me whenever you're lonely) in the 'A Song For My Father' cd. Robin mentioned being alone/ lonely in so many songs. Samantha is awesome as well. I just realized that her 'MEG' productions is her dad's initials.... wow

These kids seem to all have talent although if they would have gotten as far as they have without the GIBB influences. None of them appear to be trying to ape parents...which is a good thing. I wish them all luck. Growing up who they are probably instilled music in their blood. I see that Barry's daughter is a news correspondent or anchor woman. Still a twig on the entertainment tree.

Opino que no podemos esperar, que los descendientes directos de los BG'S sean la copia carbón ( musicalmente hablando), de sus genitores. Alguien comentó que se siente contento, que los hijos de Barry, Robin y Maurice se interesen por la música. Pero no le agrada el estilo de los muchachos. Es lo lógico. Se trata de un tema muy complejo. Cada persona es única. Tener interés por la música es una cosa, otra es ser lo mismo que los padres. No todos amarán la música ni tendrán vocación, y si la tienen, pueden ser metaleros o cantantes de ópera ( y hasta de funk o reggaeton). Cada cual con su tendencia...

Melissa trabaja como traductora en lengua árabe. No siguió el camino de la música. A Spencer lo percibo con un aire depresivo. They can never replace their dads or be so famous like them!! Good try though. They grew up differently from their dads as their dads had to struggle and were in the poor zone!. They grew up rich kids and more! Had privileges, Their dads had none of that!! Samanatha even had a nanny I read. Although not too sure how Robin's two children from his first marriage had privileges in their early life. Different lives so different and their dads had no privileges whatsoever. Samanath's mum even paid for a private jet for her to get to a gig in Iceland! Not standing on her own two feet.

Robin Sohn süß erster Ehe hat sein Talent geerbt, er kann singen, tolle Musik, sein zweiter Sohn Robin Jr hat zwar nicht sein Aussehen, seine Stimme ist nicht übel , man muss die Menschen so nehmen wie sie sind, Maurice Tochter hat auch eine interessante stimme , singt fantastisch, ihre ältere Bruder hat nichts mit Musik am Hut , außerdem hat Robin Jr an Gewicht verloren, man sollte erst an sich selbst sich kritisieren.

Recuerdo a mis padres o vecinos mayores decir que los BG'S eran unos peludos descamisados, que sus temas eran un desastre, que eso era ruido, no música. Tatuarse, teñirse el pelo de verde u otros, usar caravanas, pintarse las uñas, depilarse, fue algo que me costó aceptar en gente famosa o el verdulero de la esquina. Hoy por hoy, si les gusta, que se tatúen hasta donde quieran. Yo no me tatúo porque no me agrada, aunque algunos baby- boomers aprendimos a ser más tolerantes, dado que los cambios sociales son cada vez más acelerados...

@@mcarrascorocha - I certainly disagree that their music was a disaster. As a fellow baby boomer, I think music now is awful. Looks, dancing, awful lyrics and ruining good songs (that many now think are their own creations) have taken over. I detest rap/hip hop because it simply is not music, just talking to a beat box and usually crude lyrics sung by people grabbing their crotches! 😲Maybe they think their privates will fall off! The proof of the quality comes when many younger people are being exposed to older music and can't believe the quality and even that songs they thought were new are actually old and were done better decades ago. I have "Life" magazines from the 60's that had articles about the Beatles. One man wrote a letter to the editor "What will be next? Women will be wearing trousers to the grocery store" OMG!!!! He would have a heart attack now!
