I never understood that. I always liked the Bee Gees. I first heard of them with the Staying Alive movie when I was a young teenager, and I never stopped liking them. I didn't know until recently that they had been performing for a decade prior to that, and that they did many of the songs that I enjoyed already. I'm even a bigger fan than I already was.

When I drive down Sutton St, I park and walk down the open aired arcade dedicated to the Bee Gees and there is never a day that someone is there reading about the group and taking photo of this much loved group. I understand you! I was around 8 years old back in the days this song was playing in the radio. I used to spend a lot of my free time with my mom back, I was very very fortunate. You got that right...Robbins voice is remarkable. I've been listening to the Bee Gees since 1967 and the body of the work is almost without compare. And the morons who considered the Bee Gees to be a disco band have probably never heard much of what they've done. The Odessa lp was and remains one of my favorites and if I played a couple cuts from that lp, most of those "morons" wouldn't even know it was the Bee Gees and probably wouldn't believe it.

They are the best and my favorite. I was born in the 70's (1971) and a bit young to follow back then but remember them growing up and they always captivated me when I listened. I have many friends and many who have different tastes in music and genres but the one thing we all have in common are the Bee Gee's. We all love these guys!!
