As someone said below, I would have made a split or 2. I would do it on a double screen board. Mine are divided so I can do 2 - 5 frame nucs above the donor colony. At this time of year, I'd do it for increasing my odds of getting back a mated queen - not to make increases. Two weeks may be a little soon to check. You are just going to make yourself crazy. I'd give it 3. Good Luck.

Can you split the hive? Or is it too late in the season? I thought you were going to squish the queen cells. Could those cells be from before you introduced the new queen?
