Beekeeping is a Fascinating and Unique undertaking... They have an entire "Social Network"... Can use their Bodies Enzymes & Proteins to convert Flower Nectar that will eventually become Honey...
A forager Bee can travel up to 5 miles (but most often stay within 1-1/2 miles of the Hive) to collect Nectar... And a Bee can fly with a load of Nectar equal to it's own Body Weight...
Bees also blend Pollen and Honey to make "Bee Bread" that is a food source for Young Bees...
The life span of a Honeybee is in the 30 to maybe 60 day range, however... A Queen can live for up to Five Years!!! And a Queen can lay up to 2,000 eggs a day... Everyday... Wild...
