So I played blazblue the fighting game and the 2 characters I used were Tager and Arakune, Tao was one of those low damage but HEAVY rush down and in a few of her specials could summon a helper called a "Tao kitten" that would hit you and interrupt your stuff but she never really saw high levels of play cause she was outshined by more options on the roster

Yay! More Entropy Effect! So far, Taokaka is an incredibly fun character to watch and play, but I will never be able to hear her name without hearing kaka (I'm pretty sure it's supposed to mean laughingly in Japanese). It's unfortunate that some very vocal players seem to be be very salty about 1.0, because I think it made a lot of good changes and I'm glad to see you had fun with it. With that said, here are some minor notes that might be helpful: They've released one or two patches since you recorded this and those patches have made some fairly substantial changes. Notably, you can now import some of your resources from your EA save (though you may need to create a new save to take advantage of this), the level requirements for the upgrade slots have been drastically reduced, you now get to pick which upgrade you get when refining crystals, and they now show you the damage boost you get when picking a potential (because that is still there, but it may be specific to that potential). Some summons, like the icicles and the slime, are now on auto, which is an amazing QoL change-Side note: getting a legacy that lets you start with Gold Icicles is busted-So, even though you weren't pressing the button to bring the slime out, it was there for most of your fights. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to apply to all summons, as neither the mines nor the tentacles auto-deploy, but that makes some sense, since they don't follow your enemies around. It's not entirely obvious, but you can now trial potentials before choosing them, allowing you to see how some of the odder ones work. Similarly, while you can't reroll the shop, rooms, or tactics, you can reroll potentials. There are still synergies between some potentials, they're just much less common. They'll be listed bellow the normal abilities as "Hidden potentials". Unfortunately, the descriptions on some of them seem to be incorrect. It's worth noting that when you're picking tactics, you can press a button to see its tree (and press the shoulder buttons to cycle through other trees that have it as an unlocker for a synergy). The new UI does a better job of making this clear, but each tactic can only have 1 upgrade for each tier of its tree, though choosing a combo tactic seems to shift the tree its on and allow you to activate the combo MUCH sooner than you otherwise would be able to.

when you unlock entropy modifier (or whatever it's called), basically the mutator effects, there's a mutator that make boss upgraded, which make them absolutely bonkers, and if you get it to max (boss of 5 phases are upgraded) susanoo will even has a phase 3

Our boy Hakumen got a nerf, but that was probably deserved. He had a potential synergy combination that could make him invincible like 95% of the time (the one that gave him invincibility whenever super armor was active). He got something else instead which you can find on your own. But the improvements he got elsewhere more than make up for that particular nerf. This update is absolutely phenomenal.

fun fact: Taokaka was how I discovered the Blazblue franchise, I never played fighting games much but once I was looking at a list of female fighting game characters for academic purposes (cough cough) I saw the character and personally I wasn't excited about this game due to the lack of this character, the devs knew what they were doing and left it for the final release.

Taokaka's absolutely wild here, goddamn! Hibiki's speed, but Taokaka's just an entire human(-cat) buzz-saw with that skill! Caught me off guard with just how much of the game's changed, but it definitely looks a bit more interesting with the "pick your own playstyle" feel - it's even incorporated crystals which offer additional bonuses for whatever you might want! Fix her? I can make her worse. As a huge Susie fangirl I really love they made her so much harder, she dropped like a fucken fly in the early access, now she actually looks like a decent challenge. Still kinda wish she was like, Dark Hero level aggressive - maybe we'll get some more hard modes down the track? - but I'll take it. I can immediately date your Blazblue interest because I was engaged with it at the same time lmao. The first Continuum Shift, Noel and Litchi were both absolute fucking nightmares, along with Bang.

10 seconds... 3 clones... low mp cost... constantly deployable... infinite status affects... endless heavy strikes (low hold strikes if you're based)... POWER!!! Edit: You do in fact get increased dmg but only on the particular attack you get the potential for. Making your builds more focused until you get super loaded on potentials. (Just get to omega and you'll be fine on that front) Edit2: Entropy positive and negative effects are now PERMANENT. So cleansing negative ones or gambling away positive ones in events has real weight now. Edit3: You can press R2 on the potential selection to "Pre-test" any potential you aren't sure of or wanna try in tandem with what you already have as well. Very godlike mechanic. Edit5: Everyone is roughly amazing now. Just flat out better. Example: Noel has Earth Hammer (The air downward explosion shot) at the start now and her scaling for damage easily gets her in the thousands every hit with most of her strong attacks you can get. Her CQC combo hits 3k+ and can easily do 5k a hit. Its insane. Edit6: You'll find the mind crystal system is far more kind than you think. Plus the new update made it to where you can pick and choose what you unlock. And you can upgrade every crystal.

so Taokaka... an interesting character in Blazblue as a whole, not really important, but not really unimportant... So to talk about her I must first talk about another character that I hope gets into the game too, Jubei small story, in the past the Black Beast, something that really effed the world, was defeated by 6 heroes, thus they are known as the 6 Heroes today, q of the is playable, Hakumen, another one is Jubei, Jubei is known as the Strongest in the world, and the last remaining being of his race, but in an attempt to keep the strength of his, a cloning programs was started, they never reached Jubeis level, but one of them is Taokaka Taokaka is a fun loving, glutton friendly character with good insticnts on peoples intentions, hence why she is not affraid to get near Ragna even when others fear him extreamly, but was scared upon seeing Terumi from the begining, esentially she is one of those helpful characters that while is not really THAT important to central plot, she is a good friend that helps all her friends, seeing the world in an almost child pure way, she does have a story of her own, but again, is not really connected to the main plot, aside from her connection to Jubei and how she is able to call out the dumb fuckery the other 80% of the cast does and calling Litchi (chinese dressed woman) "Boob Lady"... I am not kiding

@@Beelz55 There are now only two extra bosses in the final zone and I'm pretty sure you're supposed to need to beat both to unlock the final fight, so I'm not entirely sure how you fought him after only taking down one of them.

Honestly you got VERY lucky when you killed the watcher without taking damage and got that buff that lets you heal via combo, that thing is just pure synergy with her. As others have said they have changed some stuff around in a recent "hotfix" especially with the memory crystals. That said how did you already have a revive and 3 mixtures? I only got one revive via one of my crystals and the standard 1 heal.

Day one this game had a TON of pretty bad issues, still has some issues but not nearly as bad. PSA FOR OTHER EARLY ACCESS PLAYERS, GO INTO SETTINGS AND CHANGE THE DIFFICULTY SETTING IF YOU"RE STARTING FRESH. If you were playing hard in early access, it starts you off on hard which is kind of ridiculous atm (sweeper charges do 400ish dmg instead of 180). LOTS of hidden buffs/nerfs which i don't like one bit.... just put the damn info in the game lol. Not being able to swap tactics is pretty bad as well and kind of locks you in if you like using certain chars for your extra 2 lock ins. But for the most part, still a good game. There is entropy effects still, but its like other rogue lites where you can ratchet up the difficulty for more rewards/starting perks. Hard mode bosses are locked behind this feature.

Kokou no Sousei - Yousei Teikoku. The moment i wrote "OMG" I got a flashback to that song from osu and it's crazy cos i don't even know but character looks VERY SIMULAR to Taokaka. So i went on rampage to find name of it and found it and it took me about 10 minutes and i found ut by comming on my osu accout ald looking for thumbnail of that song.
