Not just someone, pretty much everyone (including me) is in agreement that he is bottom tier and the worst character in the game. But don't let that put you off him. No matchups are unwinnable in this game. Just expect to have a hard time against characters that can zone him out really well like Ferry and Zeta. He is really fun and satisfying to play, but he certainly won't carry you to victory with cheap stuff like the top tiers, and be prepared to have your patience tested against strong zoners.

Combo annotations at the bottom. You can see what's happening while keeping the text readable by not overlapping it with onscreen effects. There's a reason subtitles are always at the bottom of the screen.

Pretty great content! I'm not sure how strong Beez is yet because most of his crazy mixups come from his anti-air, but he has a really interesting pressure style and movement options. Didn't think I'd like him that much, but I'm thinking of maining him after playing a set with him yesterday.

d I like a lot of the little gimmicks as well as the knowledge of the character to pull them off (like the fuzzy into divekick, sideswitch off air hit xx divekick on tech situation, sideswitch off gravity orb hit etc) really helpful stuff. I had a single question; do you know how plus meaty gravity orb is? like in the situations around 7:30. Thank you for the video, really appreciate it

Thank you for such an educational video. I've just started playing GBVS, and immediately fallen in love with Bubz. What I personally would like to know though is how his Chaos Legion move works. Sometimes it turns into a full animation, and sometimes it doesn't, leaving the opponent to fall on the ground instead of flying skyhigh, like in your example at 4:12 (the combo, which, I'm proud to say, I've found on my own while messing around in the Free Training mode). I really want to know if there's a way of knowing ahead if Chaos Legion is going to work to it's fullest or end prematurely like that.

Beelzebub is S tier, if they give him any buffs April 30th then he will be SS+. Rest assured people dont know how to play with this character.

@@BigPupito Bez is psychological character (Heavily footsie base) So he shuts down options and forces the cast to play at his pace. After his bar raises to 100% not only must your opponent now worry about your skybound supers but a zero frame command grab. I believe Bez is looked at on a linear scale but again people are approaching gran blu as an anime fighter and not a footsie based fighter like arcana heart was.

@@BigPupito Outside of "setups which are always great" Bez can also deal with scrambles insanely well. His karma ability is far beyond the scope of cheap, as a footsie tool I can punish you have screen for whiffing buttons. He has a near full screen reactable super, a dive kick with no real height restrictions with different speeds. I mean isnt this all obvious, he's like Bison from Sf4 with waaaaay more options and I was Bison main so trust me when I say this dude is S at all levels.

Beelzebub is bottom tier, arguably the worst character in the whole game. That's not to say that he's terrible, even bottom tiers can hold their own in this game. But I'm sorry you are in absolute dream land if you think Bubs is S tier. Everything he does, other characters can do better for greater reward. I feel like maybe you don't fully grasp the meta of this game for you to think Bubs is so strong. Try playing against a strong Ferry and see how well your footsie game works...when you're getting whipped from full screen, your projectiles get lasso grabbed, every divekick gets easily antiaired on reaction. Unless she screws up, it's literally impossible to get in and do anything.

Combo annotations should be at the bottom. I need to see the attack animations of each moves and the combo annotation and analyze everything in detail. Some combo videos that put the annotations in the middle made it harder to tell what the characters are doing. And most of the time when watching combo videos I'm not always on the game to quickly practice, therefor I have to memorize as much information as I can until I can get back to practicing.

I don't see how he could be overpowered. I would put him around mid personally. He's got decent tools, but nothing too scary. You've mentioned that he's got a very high damage potential, but from what I've seen his average damage is on the lower side, so I'll be looking forward to the next video, but for now I don't see it. Divekick crossups and other crossup oki setups are not real since the guard button exists. The black hole oki, if opponent decides not to contest it, it's just a plus on block meaty that reduces your corner carry. And corner carry in this game is really, really important. A safejump would be better when possible, especially since it also sets up the fuzzy. Now the fuzzy can potentially be a really strong tool, at least in the corner, but other than that, again, I don't see it.

you're probably right! when I made the video I haven't played him much yet, but once I started playing I noticed he was again in the situation I needed to work harder than Gran to get the same damage, and not as oppressive as Ferry. Still early though, I think his kit makes him have legs in the long term. I don't play at the top levels of competition, and the level of opponents I will face probably won't remember what to do in all these forced situations Bub can put them in.

@@BigPupito I been playing with him on Rank and fought my brother who's a gran main. Bee is not bad, but his damage is too shitty. He's not rewarded with great damage like Gran. His damage output is too low, and he doesn't have alot of safe options. You showed some great ways to use his orbs, but they're high risk gambles. His orb is only very good when used with the anti-air, and that's the only time it seems viable to use it for cross ups and some other setups. Gran has crazy high damage output, so when you're fighting him with Bee, you are drastically exposed to his shitty damage output. Another thing, Bee doesn't have that great of a neutral game.
