Analogman hadn't been sitting around twiddling his thumbs. By analysing the data in Ai & Mako's D-Ark, he had created a strike force of 'Alters' - corrupted copies of the partners from Digimon Tamers. They emerged to intercept the invading Demon Lord. Beelzemon X tsked. Taking down all of them would prove a challenge, and he wouldn't have enough stamina left for the fight against Machinedramon. Just then, a voice called out in the distance. "Keep going! We'll take care of them!" And the sound of 4 Digivice-VV-s activating echoed through the air. "Mega Evolution!" x4 TO BE CONTINUED

If you put X-Antibody on Impmon, which you had in hand, you could have digivolved into Beelzemon X-Antibody on the same attack and STILL got ST Beelzemon's effects active. That way, you guarantee the trashing because you never know what removal they might have there.

I don't think I've ever gone into one of these so massively biased before, Beelze is just too cool -- was already planning to build it when ST-14 dropped but the things I've seen it do lately have really hyped me up. Excited to see how things play out in EX-04!

Story wise I think this is a good outcome. Also we still need the full rustmarrow tagiru chikara cover. Spoilers: given the hunters decks main strategy is removal and beelze is a deck that doesn't really care this wasn't a good machup for the young hunters.

Yup, wasnt a super exciting matchup for me as Beelze X usually stomped (but of course, thats also cos this is a protagonist-limited ver of the Hunters deck). Arrester SMs removal is solid but it doesnt get a chance to go off as the game usually ends when Beelze hits the field

I'd use the protagonist Hunters as a base, but add Psychemon, Dracmon, Quartzmon and Ryoma while reducing the numbers of the non-Purple cards in general

Young hunters tried to be proactive like i predicted for the win but that beelzemon snowball avalanche mill just too fast. This deck is the best thing to happen to purple for a long time now and i am satisfied with this tournament result. Machinedramon rematch with x-antibody will be interesting. I think beelzemon's biggest weakness are big walls but with more ways to cheat his way through defenses with seventh full cluster and x antibody straight up trashing security i think he got the tools to do more this time.

Yup, but the purpose was to choke at 1. There was no point in gaining back to 0 cos OmniShout couldn't swing and there was no 1 Memory move they could make after that

@@McJaggoff Beelzemon isn't the best at repeated destruction in a single turn. A Chaosdramon X will usually have somewhere between 6-8 ) level 5s in source. Beelze will be able to take all of Analogmans security easy but will be constantly blocked or redirected to Chaosdramon. Plus I'd argue it takes wayyy longer for Beelze to setup

Cool match-up, and as always I must reiterate how crazy strong Beelze X is. Really feeling like the next BWGX with how unbalanced its trash effects are. Still, a vindictive part of me is quite happy to see the half-arsed Young Hunters deck, with its not-digi-xrosing Arresterdramon and off-model Superior Mode, taken out. But as disappointing as the deck is; at least BT12 has left me anticipating the next Young Hunters set in hopes it'll actually _try_ to represent its star Digimon's forms & mechanics.

Personally i don't like this beelzemon deck, there is little to no counterplay to what it does, it currently has too many advantages milling their deck, the only thing that i think that can maybe stop it is a big blocker with destruction protection, and that sounds like my personal favorite, MACHINEDRAMON (and maybe blackwargreymon x) Lastly, is my opinion, don't hate me for prefering something diferent to you 😅
