Beer and Bar Snacks Cake

Beer, cake, and an awesome surprise inside!
Materials
• four 8" round sponge cakes
• buttercream ( cake.style/2016... )
- 1kg yellow - 3 drops Americolor egg yellow, 4 drops lemon yellow and 1 drop chocolate brown
- 700g white - made with half butter, half shortening ( cake.style/2016... )
- 450g brown sugar flavoured for the filling- substituted 50g brown sugar for 100g of icing sugar
• 8" round cake plate
• angled spaluta and scraper
• Amicolor chocolate brown food colouring
• piping tip - #1A and piping bags
• cookie cutter
• 85g fondant (add tylose) and 18 gauge floral wire
• pretzels and salted peanuts

I am SURE that those pretzels got damp and all soft inside of this moist cake and cream. But i love the idea for the cake shape.I am going to do that shape for my brother :) Thanks

It's a little more effort, but when I do things like this, I line the pocket with candy melts and let it harden. Gives you a bit of a shield against the moisture

@@katracaleigh1481 I live in Ireland where humidity even inside of homes is a bit higher then the rest of the world, and i leave cookies on the table for a day, they become saggy very fast. This is just my assumption about moist cake with cream.
