Great review! You might want to know this movie is based on a novel called "Ammie, Come Home" by Barbara Michaels, which is still in print. The characters' relationships, motives, etc. are a bit clearer in the book than in the movie (as is usually the case).

LOL LOL THIS MOVIE!!! I bought this one and A Taste Of Evil from ebay a few weeks ago. I had been unsuccessful finding it before that. I bought them because I'm on a mission to own every Barbara Stanwyck movie available...This one is a scream to watch!

Don't let them remake it, let the original stand! I remember this, very subtle and punching well above it's weight for a tv film. Great film, It would appear to be available from thevideo-house. c o m - anyone know about this company? I'm a bit reluctant to spend money shipping it over here to the uk if it won't play (they say it's playable worldwide).
