Beer Hunt In A Dry Indian Town - Pushkar

Whilst chilling in my accommodation to escape the intense heat, I had discovered that a 20 minute walk away from the lake of Pushkar, there was an actual bar! And it served meat curries! Meat and alcohol are 2 things that are not available in Pushkar. I knew it meant heading into the unknown, but the lure of mutton and Kingfisher Strong was too tempting.
It was an interesting journey to say the least!
Following this journey into the unknown, I headed back to the centre of Pushkar just in time for the night time celebrations. The town comes alive with music and dance. Every night!
The next day, I finally headed up to Gayatri Mata Temple, a Hindi temple located at the top of a hill. The views were incredible.

I remember riding a scooter on the outskirts of pushkar when I came across a small hut with a few locals sitting outside it and to my suprise a local pulled out a beer from a fridge and said would you like to join and I said YES PLEASE and four Beers later i left 😅
