Yes, we respect our Chatrapati Shivaji maharaj very deeply. It's because of him we are still proud to be Hindu Indians. He made maharashtra look like phynix which was dead after Krushn Dev raya of Devgiri fell to Khilji at the end of 12th century. I have litarally found nothing (other than bhakti movement and varkari literature) to read about maharashtra in those years of islamic occupation. As if nothing happened for 400 years till Shivaji maharaj was born. That 400 years were hell for economy, culture and art. People just suffered life. Then maharaj came and re-established Dharmrajya.

I actually did a month trip to Pune and went around his forts to feel humbled to walk on the same soil where Shivaji Maharaj walked. At those times what he did saved our culture. Everyone is shocked about how intelligent shivaji was at that time but my perspective is that - It's so similar to ramanujan and his intelligence . Because if you know chatrapati shivaji maharaj was a great devotee of goddess parashakti and his devotion was so pure that in every victory or loss he dedicated it to Devi, he used to sing glories of her and same is with ramanujan he himself said that my goddess bleeds mathematics , people from the world have tested him and everyone were blown of with his answers and techniques to solve the maths problem were considered extraordinary . I never felt such thing in the past... I think rich 90 percent are not like that.. maybe this specific lady and few others..As a OBC myself felt bad as no mention of OBC sc st credit during shivrai era..this could be reason few places sc/st voted for Aimim(Assad owaisi) as there is no credit given in recent time in politics.... Seems like this people trusted them more to owaisi than our upper caste as they do prachar for owaisi in elections.. I personally need to focus on my family and health as don't want to risk messing up with United, powerful and very rich people like this lady or even ranveer or people who are promoted only.their glory and deny other Poor's any contribution.. wow...The smartest and powerful people writes history and that becomes a real history irrespective of what was actual history.. and that seems really true... Poor's seems needs a pity always.... this bring me to a personal thought there is no god but everything is politics.... . I would like my future generation to be atheist like west where more than 60.percent of Christian are atheist now.....whene every thing is politics then there cannot be a god...To be honest this biasedness wasn't earlier phenomenan as on childhood I never seen this with writings on same subject by another Brahmins great Prabhodhankar thakre and Purandere definitely have credits to everyone on Shivrai subject..... Shocking realisation.. Unfortunate to conclude - this lady gives more credits to Mughals/Muslims than poor caste from her religion like OBC sc and st... Which means as long as you are part of Hinduism as a backward caste you will not get respect /credit for sure😭😭 . But people who converted to different religion Christians/Muslims will be treated equally by our upper caste....is our civilization (Hinduism) has alot of prejudices for lower caste even today??????

Like killing Afzal kahn(which is very famous battle in the world), story of Siddhi Jauhar vedha and escape from the same, story of pavan khind, story of Surat lut. And later the great story escape from Agra. We should have a separate episodes on highlighting these great things. Because those were the real war techniques of Shivrai...

Thanks for bringing up such a nice historical topics. It’s very much inspiring to hear real truth and it certainly adds up values to our life. I feel to add some of the points which I feel are missed in this conversation - 1. No doubt about the Genius mind of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj but we can’t say there was no Guru to him. We read references in history about his mother making him learn through stories of Ramayana and Mahabharata. Our ancient history certainly added to Maratha’s life a added value set. 2. To many of questions for which the author says she doesn’t know from where it came to Chatrapati, it’s the rich culture of Marathi land which is a land of Saints like Tukaram Maharaj gave this additions to Vision of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Thanks again and we look forward to hear more such real historical podcasts😊

@@vedantsawant10 I dont agree with your first point. The word itself probably has come from Kannada words Mar + Hatta. forest dwelling people. It could not be attributed only to warrior class. Also Shivneri cannot be in Pune in those times. I think it comes after Naneghat when you travel from Pune to Nashik. Naneghat was the boundary I believe. Let me know your thoughts.
