​@@SharathKumar-lm5qw I came to know the context not very long ago so I'll do it for you. See, there is fir some historical reasons a conflict between South Indians and North Indians. Therefore, they basically call each other as South Indians and North Indians and see each other with a bit hatred (ofcourse not everyone does it) . You might have seen it in Bollywood films for example, how they portray South Indians and similarly there are some examples of such South Indian films. By saying this line he abstained himself from this conflict. Also, he said that before his debate with Owaisi; when he (Deepak sir) asked if he could speak in Hindi and Owaisi said that three South Indians are sitting and still he is asking to speak in Hindi (language is also a point of debate between Southern and Northern Indians).

I am from Bihar, but I live in kerala, I used to feel so bad that how different ( good infra, educated people, safety, etc)it is to live in kerala than Bihar ( no scope for educated people, bad infra, cleanliness issue, safety, etc). Kerala to Mangalore there are jumping heads creating violence. Being from Kanpur-UP, I can say that UP has changed a lot after Yogi ji came to power. Last time when I went to my home and I was getting late(9pm) from shopping. I called my mom to tell I'm late and she said don't worry you can even come by 11, it is very safe now. As a teenager, we had to get back to home from tutions or friends place by Max 8pm. UP is doing better than many states.

Being a bihari myself, Sai Deepak's words really touched. Very few times anything positive is spoken about my state. I have been following him since 2020 when I saw him in a debate about Sabrimala. When I first heard him, I was like who is this gentleman and since then I have been a fan boy.

Before that also Magadh had many powerful Samrajyas with powerful rulers. The British played a huge role in the decline of this region, like all other regions in Bharat. Let’s all get to know our true history by following genuine Historians like Vikram Sampath, Subhash Kak, Meenakshi Jain, etc. We need to delearn the false history shoved in our minds by the Islamic invaders, British and by people like Irfan Habib and Romila Thapar post 1947. Let’s get coloured in our own Sanskriti and customs and festivals and Dharma. Let’s build a new Bharat ( Not India) and reclaim our past Glory. This starts in our home. Ranveer should do more research and atleast counter some of his guest based on facts and counter questions otherwise it feels like just a program where all the guest are speaking and he is just listening only feels.litttle.boring

It's not necessarily true that he does want to remain leftist or rightist. It just that he, like most of the people nowadays is scared of being labelled as a sanghi or bhakt , the moment they talk about Sanatan & that's fine it's his personal choice but apart from the religious aspect there is so much which can be discussed with JSD like NRC , uniform civil code , the backstory of two nation theory & much more . It's just that JSD is the man of many colors & the host needs to match his frequency to extract the true essence of his intellect. Hope he will take this feedback for his upcoming podcast

the fact that he is aware of the reality that half of his fans are admirer of his because of his english is what makes us love him even more.Initially I too just binged watched his sessions because of his immaculate and flawless eloquence in english and also did not some of his speeches only because they were in hindi! but later on as i got more and more involved with is ideas and concepts,I started to focus on the essence of what he was trying to convey. his mindfullness is just phenomenal!

Despite him mentioning it, some are still swooning over his eloquence and what not, in the comments . Even a significant proportion of the other half sees him as nothing more than some sort of intellectual entertainment. Hence the constant mentioning of his "clarity of thoughts, facts and logic". It's as if he just feels good to listen to. It's a sad state of affairs.

@@fartinIutherking spot on! It's a suffocating reality, to be a part of a society where one's position holds water only when the subject is well versed in the colonial language rather than his merit. Also the fact that I am writing this comment in English itself shows how unconsciously and consciencelessly we are bound to this language, and I swear I hate it that I am dependant on this alien language to express myself rather than using pure hindi (not urdufied) or my mother tongue, because otherwise it's hard to exist in the ecosystem where English is a forcibly imposed necessity. I am working on improving my hold on native languages and meanwhile using English as an onahole!
