Hello ladies, good video, I have a house in Talisay city 25 minutes from CEBU CITY with my Filipina wife , I am from Norwich UK and spend around 6 months in Cebu and 6 months in the UK, I was teaching TEFL in China/Shanghai and Korea I am a qualified teacher, but do not teach much now, that was a few years ago, I hope you liked Cebu, I have lived in a few places in the Philippines, but I have to say I have found Cebu the best, and the most friendliest people and very safe also in Cebu...anytime you ladies are in Cebu and want to see Talisay city we have a six bedroom house , your most welcome with British and Filipino foods...kind Regards. We do some charity work for homeless children, I hate to see the kids sleeping in dirty streets. Kind Regards from Ray

Oh dear, two Brit princesses on an island hopping trek. My advise as a fellow Brit, get out of the city as fast as you could as life is calling. Seize the moment and start right now. And in the next few days and get ready with your swimming attire, you ladies can arrange your itineraries and travel to the four corners from where you are right now. Here is my suggestion 1) Go south to Bohol then head on to Siquijor, 2) And from there then travel to Dumaguete where you'll be able to discover there are a sizeable presence of expats ( truckload of Brits too) plus consider going to Apo Islands and Manjuyod sandbar amongst others, 3) Head then to Cebu from Sibulan ( Dumaguete ) to Lilo-an Santander (Cebu) where if you plan to stay overnight then consider staying in this Eden Resort where you can sit in a veranda and sipping tea whilst watching the sun set down plus stargazing later on and more , 3) And from there check if your schedules can fit into going for Oslob plus Moalboal and Bantayan Islands, 4) On your last leg if you still were not knackered, consider taking one more last trip to Samar/Leyte if not Siargao. And there you go mates, then you can digress in sublime thought with this quote "leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures and videos".

travel by ferry - smart and wise choice. Cebu City - super friendly peepz. greet some folks there proactively "Kumusta kayo" means how are you? or "Maayong Buntag" means good morning. just stay within the city area. try the dried mango there. check the apps for accommodation. i forgot that apps. instead of booking a hotel. best of luck and wishing an enjoyable travel.

metro manila is a huge sprawling capital. you did a good choice by making makati as your base for exploration. old manila has more genuine charms but it also has its poverty and petty crimes. Places like makati, bgc, most parts of QC, marikina, pasig, las pinas, alabang are more tourist friendly than the old capital of manila. Makati is my favorite part of the capital especially poblacion. You really did a good job covering my beloved city of manila. thanks and mabuhay!

Not in our case. It was going to cost £50 one way per person. This not including baggage. Plus we would have had to have paid for a hotel for that night. We saved over £100 for sure. It just depends on how cheap the flights are. Being prepared is always better but not always possible 👍
