Hi girls. I commented on your channel a few weeks ago on my return from a trip to vancouver. I needed to watch you both right from the beginning and i have just finished the journey so far. Wow I feel like you have shown me so many new experiences. I think you are both amazingly and inspirational. I am a newly retired 55 year old who adores travel. My husband and son know all about you. Now I have to go and pack because we are off to Greece in a few hours. I am from Derbyshire and i can't wait to continue watching you when I get back. X

Hello, Janet! Wow, that is such a lovely comment! Comments like yours is what keeps us going!!! Once again, thanks for all the love and we wish you a very lovely holiday in Greece! 💞

Revisiting this video, and many others on Malaysia by Beer for Breakfast, just to remind myself what Malaysia was like not too long ago before Covid-19. Incidentally at 5:44 the ice cream vendor said "Dollar" instead of "Ringgit" when asked how much the ice cream. Quite understandable because the older folks are more used to the term Dollar rather than Ringgit for Malaysian currency. The term Ringgit was a relatively recent coinage, pun intended, only introduced in 1980s I think.

As usual - great video. Stopped watching the World Cup years ago. The best memory for me was the 1982 World Cup - Bryan Robson scored the fastest goal ever, Italy beat Brazil 3-2 and went on to win the World Cup with captain Dino Zoff. Memories ❤️

I visited Perak Cave Temple in November of 2018 and it was wonderfully beautiful. Though when I was there there was much climbing and better scenic views beyond the elephant statue where you ladies appear to have stopped. (If I recall correctly, the elephant was approximately the half-way point of the climb.) Were the upper areas not opened when you were there, or had you just had enough climbing? Safe travels. Cheers :)

Wow.. You climbed up the cave.. Try mirrors lake.. surrounded by limestone.. And try Mee Rebus Ramli at Tasik.. and if you love adventures and special foods.. Try Gopeng Guest House.. and ask my friend Ryoq about white water rafting..

In ipoh the chicken is sort of free range, they rare them in huge area and they run around freely. Ipoh sells 3 kinds of chicken mostly, Free range chicken(kampung chick we mostly say), bearded chicken and normal chicken. For this this they use free ranged ones mostly. Flat noodles, bean sprout and chicken are quite famous in Ipoh cause they taste very different, texture and all. other states you can hardly find flat noodles that are silky, bean sprouts are less fibrous here and chicken that are specially rared for this. Also welcome to ipoh !
@BeerForBreakfast6 жыл бұрын
oh woow, thank you so much for this information! I am glad that it's kind of free range! Tasted really good, not gonna lie!

Hi, Ipoh is like the sister city to Chiang Mai. An inland city that has no seafront, has a nearby Highland destination called Cameron Highlands similar to Mae Hong Son and both city is world famous for Coffee. Just like ChiangMai were you can find many ethnic Chinese Thais, Ipoh is also has Malaysia's largest Chinese population.For sea access, Ipoh is just about an hour drive away from another town named Lumut where you can find beaches and ports.

The secret ingredients are white pepper powder and sesame oil which gives the special aroma to the brea sprouts(taugeh). As for the broth used for the noodles, it has shrimp paste prepared in special manner over many hours which is a secret known only to the chef and his family apprentices.
