@Drinking In Canada we don't have one. We have a buying age. And that's 16 for everything below 16% or something and 18 for anything else. Your parents could "legally" give you beer when you are 3. But that doesn't happen. We have common sense. But it is quite normal that the first time we drink with our parents are around 14, after you been confirmed in church.
