I’m not sure if you know this, but there was never any Eyedea, it was always Eyedea and Abilities, even with Grand’s Sixth Sense. That duo was meant to be, and still the greatest of all time, IMO

The lion's share of his discography is with Abilities, and the rest of his work is face candy, carbon carousel, etc. Please name a solo Micheal Larsen project, because I’m fairly certain that abilities even worked on when in Rome kill the king

Slug is playing redrocks, CO this summer... his opening acts are Red Man & METHOD MAN and Del and del is booked as DELTRON 3030... not as Del the Funky Homosapien... that's what he's doing now days.. and this was released 9/23/03...and on tony Hawk underground

Keep diving into the Rhymesayers catalog then move onto Doomtree, Def Jux, and Strange Famous. There is a world of indie hip hop from the early 2000s that has been doing it for a long time. It was banging then, still holds up, and most of them are still doing it.

Also.. should be pointed out that atmosphere still sells out every show and they tour a lot.. Places like red rock he sells out two days in a row when he slides through... Kind of sucks because I gotta pay 90 bucks for a ticket so I waited and the show next month sold out within 5 minutes. So now im trying to get presale for Minneapolis show. But they sell out first ave usually two or three days straight.

i think "IN THE DAYS OF QUEENS AND KINGS I WAS A JESTER THEY TREAT ME LIKE A GOD OR THEY TREAT ME LIKE A LEPER" , "get real they tell me if only they knew how real this life really gets:" Jesters entertain, the audience and the higher ups (king and queen) so im assuming at that time he was on a label or something, and "they" meaning the higher ups but the audience "get real they tell me" gots me thinking it wasnt a good show and bad things happened not good turn out, so having to find the balance of what he wants to do, please the king and queen, and the audience, idk im drunk i dont watch reaction channels this just popped up and my first intro to atmosphere lol oh i forgot "treat me like a leper" like the disfigured birth defected people they used to shun or kill in the old days because of how they looked

This song made Atmosphere BLOW. Their library before this album is really good, but, for a brief moment they were distributed by Geffin records, who also put out the Punk-o-ramma albums which were always gigantic every single year. This song was on one of the first DVD versions they did with music videos on and it reach a such massivly different and wide audiance than they were used to. The exposure from that was insane.
