Definitely been waiting for this one! Ronnie Radke is the face of Falling In Reverse. At first, they started off as more punk rock and has evolved mixing in other genre's into his music. I would say he showed off how well his flow is in this one, but don't expect it in every song they put out, as they're more honed in with rock. His vocal inflection is insane, too. Dude can hit death metal lows to super high melodies. Check out Zombified, Voices In My Head, and Popular Monster!

I had written off FIR as some dorky emo, pop-punk band a while back and never gave them another thought. The other night, "Ronald" came up on my Amazon music feed and I was really taken aback by it. I couldn't believe it was the same band. I'm a longtime headbanger and that song is heavier than a Jenny Craig convention. Loved it. Then I heard this song. I'm not much of a hip hop fan. There's some older stuff that I like ok (Cypress Hill, Public Enemy, that sort of thing) but not much of anything recent. Nothing against it, I respect it, but it just never really moved the needle for me. But there was something about this that kept me from quickly moving on to something else. I was intrigued. The song is an absolute masterclass in buildup. The intro backing track is gentle, like a lullaby song being played on a wind-up music box. Then Ronnie starts in. Calm at first, but you can gradually feel the angst and tension building until he jumps out of the plane. The escalation continues until he hits the ground, and there's a brief respite. Then it starts building up again. I'm locked in. Where is this going? When he got into those lines about having dirt on people and bringing them down with just one post, I found myself bobbing my head to the beat and banging my fist. This is not hip hop influenced rock/metal that I'm familiar with (like RATM or Limp Bizkit or whatever). This is straight up rap. Why am I enjoying it so much? The entire rap section was a pure tension buildup for me (and I mean that in a good way). Listening to it, I felt like a dog on a chain, just dying to be turned loose. For me, the super fast part where the drums and guitar start to show up was the culmination of it all, and the part with the zombie nun choir was Ronnie finally saying, "I'm letting you off that chain now". When the rock part kicked in, I was running free. It felt like a catharsis. Ronnie/FIR broke the mold with this one. I've listened to this song over and over and over again, and every time I'm in awe of its brilliance.

Welcome to Falling in Reverse! Ronnie is the Avatar of music. This man can do pretty much anything musically. A suggestion for the rap songs are "Popular Monster" and his trilogy. But also I highly recommend listening to " The drug in me is you" and it's remade version called "The drug in me is reimagined" also in the same vain check out " I'm not a vampire" and "I'm not a vampire revamped". You gotta do a double feature video when you listen to their old song and the new version. It will really show off just how amazingly talented he is and the growth.

Has a few straight rap songs in a mixtape he made in years back.
