I am a 3rd generation hobby beekeeper. The traditional ways of beekeeping care for the bees and only takes the surplus of their hard work while thank them for their great service. The way modern commercial beekeepers are doing it harms the bees more than what is needed to make a profit, because for them it is a business. ALL the products from the hive are EXTREMELY good for our health! There are 9 products we can get from the bees: honey, wax, pollen, bee bread (fermented pollen), propolis, royal jelly, apilarnil, bee venom, the air from the hive. Plus the vibration of the bees is also healing (sleep on top of the bee hives). So the honey bees were really created to have a life of service by providing products of great healing. Not all honey is equal. Take care to purchase raw, unpasteurised honey. Pasteurisation kills the enzymes and filtering removes the pollen particles that are part of the healing properties of honey. When you add honey to your tea, make sure you add it when the tea has been cooled down to under 60 degrees Celsius so you don't kill the enzymes! I like to place my tea bag in my cup, add 3/4 cup of hot water, wait a couple of minute for the tea to be ready, add cold water to fill the cup, remove the tea bag and only then add the honey. The tea is already at a good temperature for drinking so I can savour it with gratitude!

To me, honey is divine indulgence. This magical potion made from the nectar of flowers, literally encapsulates the divine feminine qualities of magnetism, womb power and goddess-style ecstasy… all that is sweet, alluring and uplifting. I mean, look at how it flows: slow, sensual, effortless, united. Of course it nourishes and soothes us. I loooove honey. And i appreciate the solar info, since we often have very little sunshine in the PNW. Big round of applause for our bee friends.

I appreciate and enjoy your content. I'm a non-honey-consuming vegan. When it comes to animal exploitation of any sort I err on the side of caution. In my opinion honey is produced by bees for bees. Many religious people will use similar arguments to exploit other animal species using the excuse that humans have dominion over them. It's a slippery slope. If honey was meant for humans to consume then there should be no ambiguity on the matter. If the bees were truly producing honey in service to humanity then they would offer it to us without the need to extract it from them using the current common practices. They could simply deposit it on crops we already consume. 🌻🐝

📌📌📌Controversial but true: from Ancient times in India first thing we give to our newborns even before mother's milk is honey, just a drop. Modern doctors are highly against this practice. They are ok to give sugar infested baby formulas though. Just saying 🤷🏻♀️! Guess honey doesn't make money! 😢 I'm sad that I didn't give my daughter honey for the first year of her life, listening to her doctor. But after this video I'm more convinced about ancient Vaidic knowledge. 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 In India we treat honey as medicine. As per the "Patanjali Sutra" (the book for world famous Ayurveda) honey alone can cure a thousand illnesses. 🍯🍯🍯Traditionally in India we take honey first thing in the morning🌞. 👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻We give honey to kids to treat cold and cough in place of cough syrup. Also amazing to boost immunity,💪🏻. 🏔️🏔️🏔️ If you're about to go to mountains/ treaking and suffer from O² deficiency or hight sickness start taking 1 TSP honey before 8 weeks of treaking, you'll be surprised how much it makes things easy for you.❄️❄️❄️

Hello Maria! I had an amazing experience today, two days ago my children and I made fairy houses and put them outside with our hummingbird feeders. We watch them out the play room and have enjoyed watching them with “our other eye” hehe. I was so happy to see a little bee on the lily that we put out for them. Today I went to the window and there was a swarm of what looked like wasps on my hummingbird feeder. my heart sunk to see what looked like my little bee submerged in the water vase of the lily. I assumed it was dead but felt like I wanted to remove it to see if it really was a bee or a wasp. So I gently removed from the water with chopsticks (dodging some annoyed wasps) and put it in a bowl in my house. If you can believe it after about 8 hours of drying it started moving! I was so happy to see all the fur on the belly because then I knew it was a bee, and somehow it was alive. I gave it another lily in its bowl and put it back outside. I am shocked that it was still alive! It must have been in the water for a long time. I watched this video yesterday. Interesting timing!! Thank you for your videos!
