Erling Haaland scored 19 minutes from time to consign Brentford to a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City at Etihad Stadium.
Haaland capitalised on Kristoffer Ajer's unfortunate slip to race through on goal and slide beyond Bees goalkeeper Mark Flekken.
Thomas Frank's side showed great improvement from the 4-1 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend and will consider themselves unfortunate to leave the north west empty handed.

basically the same way you conceded the opening against Liverpool. both games could've different results. i get that getting first goal was crucial. but against team like City/Liverpool, you can't just send that much body for setpieces.
