I just wanted to tell you Ukulele Bartt that actually you are the first to explain this whole finger independence thing to me. This is actually the "key" of mastering any independent finger (to me). With the counting: one n a two n a three n a was the best for me and helped a lot with other blues fingerpicking aswell.

If anyone wants to try this but don't have a low g string ukulele you can try the following as oppose to going and buying a new set of strings or another uke. If you don't like it you can just put them back but chances are you will like it and then you can decide if its worth in Investing in getting a low g u!ulele. Move the high G string to the E position and move the C string and E strings down one position. So your uke will be C,E, G,A then just tune these to the standard G,C, E, A tuning. There are actually loads of classical pieces that you can play with a high g ukulele.

My left index finger tip is too 'sharp' for guitar or ukulele - from its side view the angle of the nail and the flesh is almost V shaped, so even if I cut the nail to the flesh, when the finger tip touches the fretboard vertically (as standard) the nail still hits the board, unless I try to touch the board with slightly proximal part (this way means my finger will be almost flatly placed on the board) rather than with the tip point of the index finger. Is there any way I could overcome this?

You just need to keep trying different angles, pressures and techniques. Eventually you'll find a way that works!

Ok this is Tremolo on classical guitar
@josephgrossman36137 жыл бұрын
Luis Rubio yes, though as you know classical guitar most often uses p-a-m-i. The author calls this "flamenculele"; a traditional flamenco tremolo would be p-i-a-m-i for 5 notes/cycle instead of just three. There is no reason you "should" use the traditional guitar technique on a ukulele, but I think it's at least worth knowing what the original is.
