I play with my son as cellist this unique sonata for cello and piano. Hence I am familiar with details. For long time Rostropovich and Richter were my classic favored team. This performance by Martha Argerich and Mischa Maisky is electrifying beyond the normal,. The phrasing exceptional, not heard in any of the editions by others I am familiar with, and the dynamics sensational. Thank you for making it available.

Per un balance ottimale fra cello e piano sarebbe stato meglio aprire solo un poco il coperchio del pianoforte, vedi i video Rostropovich e Richter
