Not a major work by Beethoven but a very nice combination of sound textures. Thanks for posting

Let;s say this: if the present lot of musicians constructed this music, at any age, they would be endowed with a McCarthur Award for Genius. And even us classical tyros would be baffled to hear WAM's much more serious representations in a trio. The most splendid recognition of the master's music is his relatively devoted application of amusement and delight, much much more a Papa trait than the beloved Mozart, it would seem to me.

My morning gets more blissful when I listen to it! Fantastic composer! Thank you! Do you know another beautiful trio like it, of the same composer?

It would seem that Beethoven composed this piece when he was 16 years old. Early and quite simple in its way, with influences of Mozart (possibly) it's very well written and well worth playing. Maybe transferred to a usual piano trio it may become popular in the repertoire. Though I have to say, the bassoon is one of my favourite instruments.

Plain and simple. Beautiful. Age will never wither it, nor custom stale its appeal.

That is just masterful composition, and I don't know the floutist but I would have to guess he is one of the best in the world, because there can't be many people as good as that.
