Norm I just ran across your video today, excellent content you do a great job very informative. I know you are using 6# test line, is it braid, mono, or florocarbon. Or braid with a floro or mono leader, if your using a leader how long is it. plus are you using a snap swivel to cut down on line twist. Thanks Ed.

gpdory, I am using straight 6# mono. No snap swivel. I use Berkley Trilene XT Extra Tough Fishing Line. I have not had any issues with line twist. Thanks for the post..

In addition to Bass, Bluegill, and Crappie; I can't tell you how many Juvenile Tarpon and Snook I have caught on Beetle Spins fishing the more brackish areas of the feeder creeks that go into the Indian River Lagoon.

I use Beetle spins, but I rig up a larger profile fluke and catch large bass. Ive caught several 5+ lb bass on that rig.

You shouldn’t release those Mayan cichlids. I know they’re everywhere but I catch bass covered in bite marks from them. They wiped out the bluegills where I live.

Just did a cast test with my small rod. Didn't get a bite because the lake I tested on only has catfish in it but it felt good. Can't wait until Sunday comes so I can test it on open water.

Hey man I've seen channel cats hit beetle spins before also fishing smaller creeks many of bullhead catfish. Not trying to catch them but you do sometimes. Also jackfish and gar.

Hey Nita, there is a lot of factors when fishing. Try the smallest beetle spin, 1/16 oz. Use it in areas where you know there are fish. Fish it slow and try to fish it close to cover. White or black body are great colors. Good luck
