Even tho I wish the overall look of the film didn't have that digital cleanness most modern films have, I do appreciate the adherence to the creepy practical effects. Let's hope for the best

While I do agree, I have no issue with digital so long as it looks good. Films like dune, mad max fury road and blade runner 2049 show it can be done as long as the people behind the camera know what they're doing. Regardless, I didn't have oscar level expectations for beetlejuice 2 when it came to visuals tbh so I guess I can't be too mad.

I will be seated opening night. I also think the wednesday vibe in that scene was done with a bit of a wink and a nod. Obviously they'll draw parallels so why not just embrace it.

@@Keizi Basically all of it. Lol. I love the practical effects, the humor, and the look. This movie is filled with some of my favorite og actors and I'm a huge fan of Jenna Ortega so best of both worlds. This is going to be fun.
