Harry Belafonte was one of my and my father’s favorite singers of all time. His songs were full of joy, passion, and soul. He had a unique style that blended folk, calypso, pop, and Caribbean rhythms. He sang about love, freedom, and social issues with a captivating voice and a charismatic presence. I loved his songs like "Day-O", "Island in the Sun", "Jamaica Farewell", and "Matilda". They always lifted my mood and made me want to dance. He was a musical legend and a humanitarian hero. @quietkilljoy
@quietkilljoy 11 ай бұрын
@@evanfaust8672dude those are just gore, the aesthetic horror of the Edward Scissorhands universe is terrifying. He has scissors for hands (inexplicably always sharpened), he can’t take his clothes off (literally, they are a part of him), he is practically molested by an older woman, he is forced to take part in a robbery because of his mech hands and that results in him being driven out of town by a pitchfork mob, where Edward accidentally turns the regular creepy castle on the hill into a murder castle on the hill. And none of that would have happened had the mom not been selling (poorly) a makeup-based pyramid scheme door to door. Much scarier than Sondheim 🥴 No but for real, the gore is the least scary part of Sweeney Todd too. The judge keeps a young girl locked in a room so that he can look at her whenever he wants.

Has to be one of the funniest and well played scenes ever. If there isn't, there ought to be an award for Catherine O'Hara's performance. Never tire of seeing this again, and always brings joy...

Hollywood is now _ONLY_ able to remake. Top 10 movies in 2024 were all sequels or prequels. And Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is one of them. But you are, of course, correct, Hollywood can't get it right
