www.AdamTheWoo.com - PLEASE RATE & SUBSCRIBE - I traveled to the mountains of Vermont to visit the spots from the classic movie Beetlejuice. The town had no cell phone reception and still had a video store, perfection. Enjoy !

If I had the money to spare I would have bought the land where the “house” was and actually build that house from the movie, right down to the last detail, even a replica of the model town.

Adam ~ WE LOVED THIS! Great job on the entire production. My wife said you and I are lost brothers, because I "document" all historical/interesting facts about everything I video. Boy. Despite all the years gone by there's still such a Beetlejuice feel to that town. I guess it's the same with most New England towns. Burton's films always seemed to capture that surreal strangeness inherent to places like that. I grew up in a NE town myself and am more than familiar with it.

@C J I, too, would have reservations with a Beetlejuice2. First of all, I fear that too much focus would go into CGI, the storyline would suffer, and the sequel would be subpar. Lastly, Hollywood needs to be more original and stop making sequels since the more sequels there are the crappier the movies.
@ewaleokadia765 жыл бұрын
@C J I never got into those super hero movies since I am not interested in them. Not since Christopher Reeves played Superman, Helen Slater played Supergirl, and Lynda Carter played Wonder Woman was I ever interested in super heroes. Like you, I prefer a good storyline with substance, well-developed characters that carry the film, and not too much of a overpolished look. Also, many of today's films are about doom and gloom which I (and hopefully others) can do without. There are exceptions here and there but lately, from what I've noticed, there aren't that many.
@ewaleokadia765 жыл бұрын
@C J The point is there is always hope but film makers go way over the top with doom and gloom. And, yes, I LOVE "Labyrinth" 💖. It is one of my favorite films😄. Although I was never a David Bowie fan, in this film, he played the Goblin King beautifully. I cannot imagine anyone else in that role😀. By the way, I was born in the 70s😀.
@ewaleokadia765 жыл бұрын
@C J You are confusing Christopher Reeves with George Reeves. George was TV's Superman although I never saw many reruns of this show. Probably my mother did😀. Besides "Labyrinth", I saw David in " The Hunger" (1983). The film didn't impress me much since I don't remember much of it😂. But, playing Jared, he probably turned a lot of teenagers on although I didn't at first pay too much attention on that part of the anatomy as I was taking in the weirdness of The Labyrinth itself😂. To be honest, I don't pay much attention to many of today's films. I read the reviews, especially the ones by respectable and open-minded columnists. The last good one I liked was with Daniel Ratcliffe in, " The Woman in Black" which is more of an old-fashioned kind of film where your imagination can scare you. However, even though I like musicals the recent, "Les Miserables", I found very disappointing. With the live singing, there were just too many close -ups of the face whereas when the music is pre-recorded and the actors lipsync back the words, there is more room for various different shots. Not to mention that Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe were just too inadequate for their singing roles among other problems. In reality, my favorite films and television shows are from the 30s-80s although there are some from 90s to the 2000s that I like. I like some comedies especially that have wit such as the 1950s "Some Like It Hot" starring Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis and "The Odd Couple" starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Mathau (1970s). Both comedies have wit and they are funny without using bathroom or sexual humor. Also, some classic horror movies including the original, " The Haunting" starring Julie Harris, " The Fog" starring Jamie Curtis, "What Lies Beneath" with Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford, "The Others" with Nicole Kidman, and " The Uninvited" (1940s) starring Ray Midland and Ruth hussy among many others. Finally, some musicals, some drama, inspirational movies and definitely some cartoons that I grew up with and most of Disney but mostly the hand drawn ones.
