I love the deck (I received my review copy today!!) but I really dislike the construction of the guidebook (map?!). But hey, we have illustrated minors so I'm happy! I would have liked to see Beetlejuice appear on more of the cards though. Afterall, it is a Beetlejuice deck!? 😁 I'm a huge fan of Beetlejuice and I will be keeping this one in my deck library! FUN!

Omg yes I’m so happy with it. I’ve been using it and it’s just so fun to read with the characters in mind. I’ve also been in and out of the write-ups and they are pretty down to earth and some good advice for situational/ energy readings. The writer and artist did a fantastic job. 😍 I’m wondering if I can disassemble and reassemble the “map” into a book just to make it more accessible. Especially since I’ve been enjoying it so much. 🤔

I can see why a foldable road map fits the vibe but well there is a reason why if you know how to fold back your road map, you can play the accordion joke... I just had so many people crashing the car movies because the map took up the whole windscreen the one I can place are goofy, it's supposed to be that necessary, useful and frustrating tool and maybe not how you want to think of your guidebook on the other hand it might be a reason to write more in your journal so you can use that later?? Way to avoid the bugs? It looks great, sounds good, they tried to do a gimmick... and well maybe better with the book than the cards?

Oh I actually put Halloween stickers over all of the bugs so I can’t even see them anymore. Problem solved 🥰. I don’t really do much journaling for tarot but I do plan to sit down one Saturday with the movie, a drink, the cards, and the map and go through all of the write ups and do the spreads. Should be fun. After that I’ll likely just store it away. I don’t need it to use the cards since they make sense to me. I just like to read the guidebooks to get the full experience and see where the creator’s vision takes me. 💜

I think most of the cards are fun nostalgic representations and they make sense to me. I only found a few that gave me pause and the guidebook helped with most of those. I’ve done a full flip-through in this video so you could go back and watch and what might help you decided is you could mute the walkthrough and take a look at the cards without my commentary so that you can concentrate on how you feel about how they work for yourself. Not sure but it could have been fun to open it up and find big photo of the model in the background of the map inside with words running thru or overlayed or something. Or a handbook for the Beetlejuice tarot that mimicked the handbook for the recently deceased 😍 but maybe it was a copywriting thing. 🤷🏾‍♀️
